The country music repository thread

I've considered doing this for a long time but often figured I was the only one that cared. Kyle DeLexus' thread has shown me that's not the case.

If you have an appreciation for country music feel free to use this as a place to post videos, news, personal favorites lists, concert experiences and anything else country related. Old or new doesn't matter. Just have fun with it and ignore the haters.

Naturally I have to post the greatest country song of all time as a starter.

Willie Nelson is easily the best Willie. I think Freddie Fender needs to be mentioned.

John Conlee is one of my favorites and is quite under-rated imo. I've had the pleasure of introducing him at 2 shows. Super good guy who did a lot of great songs. This one is my favorite.

....he's been acquiring currency and disregarding females since Milkman was a baby boy.

Go to the office, the work's piled up
pour 3 fingers bourban in my coffee cup
and cry on my best friends shoulder down the hall
feel so lonely when I close the door
bite my nails and I walk the floor
and straighten Miss Emilys picture on my wall

Look out my window and what do I see
nothing but pain looking back at me
and all that my future seems to me
is tossing yesterdays love out into the wind
and straighten Miss Emilys picture now and then
