I've heard that song 17 different times, under 17 different names, 17 different sets of lyrics. and sometimes on the same CD. Same song over and over again.

Shit band. So much talent out there and the industry puts this crap out?

They connected with an audience and gained a huge following. I respect them for that because it's far from an easy thing to do.

They also came up the hard way, with the old Giant Records, founded by Irving Azoff after his disgraceful run at MCA/Universal, signing them to a paltry $35k deal. He then connected them with songwriters in order to create their first record, which was a big hit. I was a fan.

That first record was a template but unfortunately, not much more. They haven't strayed from their sound and while that's obviously working for the majority of their fans, I grew tired of them around 2005.

At least they've hired the best rock producer out there today in Kevin Churko and the snare no longer sounds like a wet paper bag.

I was a fairly big fan of Disturbed but grew very tired of them during the last couple albums. Even their live shows got to be repetitive. The last time I saw them was at Mayhem Fest a few years back and their set almost put me to sleep.

You are right. Being successful in no easy feat. So I'll show some respect.

Actually saw them live once at Ozzfest. Shit band.

Love ya Dane.
