Random drop.. The shotgun that I have with an AI came from a mission -- this one encourages you to kill.

bursts of fire. I didn't like them at first cause they use up too much ammo.
you don't have to let it shoot the entire burst if you don't want it to. aim and pull the trigger & then immediately let go of the aim button/trigger and you only shoot two shots.

360.

Go in with a friend (more the merrier) and meet him at a place where the autosave isnt going to trigger, so like any square.

Have everyone give money to one individual and then all that gave their money hit the 360 home button and exit out of the game by hitting Y and home.

The person who received the money can just hang out while everyone exits and comes back in.

When everyone comes back in they will still have their money (items works too) and the person they gave the money to will have all of the combined money.

Wash, rinse, repeat.

15 minutes of this and you will all have millions of dollars. Play the slots and reap the rewards.

hey, by the way....if it's already been mentioned in here...oh well.....
there's a dude at Sanctuary, he wears shades and always has a weapon on his back. he will give you a weapon if you talk to him. he's given me two, and the first one was a badass sniper rifle....I sold the second but it was worth good money. now every time I go there I won't leave until I find him.
