Off Season Lets Talk Guns

Been a while since we had a guns n' ammo discussion.

Some of you are AR shooters Im sure. Im looking at a Colt 6920. Will be my first AR. Picked up a Glock this fall and really enjoy shooting it. Any feedback on that weapon?

Anyone else been in a buy/sell/trade mood with hardware?

Not really, just mainly St Joe,St Francois,Hawn etc... We do that 12 mile hike from Taum Sauk to the shut ins a few times a year and camp out about half way through sometimes. We can do it in a day,but we like to take our time and just take it easy.

So I also got two 30 round Magpul Pmags with the window. When I load 30 rounds, it only goes down to the '25' marker. Is this normal? I thought maybe I had miscounted, but couldn't get any more to load.
My red dot sight (Lucid HD7) arrived yesterday...very cool. At first when I mounted it, it was leaning a tiny bit to the right and it was off center because of it. So I switched the tightening screws around - put the tightening nuts on the left instead of the right - and that fixed it. I can't get out to the range until next weekend though.

Anyways here's the pistol im seriously interested in.

I like the look of it and liked how it felt in my hand (changeable grips was nice), but I didn't like the trigger. I was looking at the 9mm and ended up going with a Sig Pro 2022 instead mostly because of the trigger.

Here's the 40 version...http://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/p...ducts_id/14910

For a CP member I'd let it go for $225. Bought it new in janurary for $275. I've shot probably 100 rounds through it. Nothing wrong with it, I'd just rather have something I can take out to the range regularly.

Summit Gun Broker is selling used Glock 40 cals for $365. I assume they're police trades.

I'm not a Glock guy (I prefer single/doubles), but that seems like a pretty good deal. Unfortunately he's out of the HKs.

Another thing I noticed - used 4x Trijicon ACOG scope for $600. Those things are outrageously expensive new.
