Been a while since we had a guns n' ammo discussion.


Some of you are AR shooters Im sure. Im looking at a Colt 6920. Will be my first AR. Picked up a Glock this fall and really enjoy shooting it. Any feedback on that weapon?



Anyone else been in a buy/sell/trade mood with hardware?

I typically spend as much (or more) time cleaning after I shoot as I do sending rounds downrange. I'm a bit OCD with my Bushmaster XM

Hell you can clean it with brake fluid and it eats anything, steel, BRASS it don't matter.... Not as accurate as your AR though but people 200 yards away don't bother me that much unless they have an AR

I love mine. Fun to shoot, eats up the shittiest cheapest ammo available without complaint. I put an EOTech 512 on it which is more than sufficient for optics.

I baby my AR. It's like Cinderella. The AK is the ugly stepsister.

Is that a light or laser? I highly recommend a light for every handgun capable of having one. It makes it so easy to clear a building. I have a streamlight tlr1 on my duty weapon. $100 light, of course there are cheaper out there.

So I have an SKS which is more accurate than the AK but the same basic rifle. I'm not sure if you can kick it in the balls the way you can an AK but then again, I'm not really worried about it not firing either. It's a nice alternative to the AK IMHO.

Both - combo light (that can be set to strobe) and a green laser.

I keep it on the strobe/laser setting. I figure anybody I hit with that in the dark is pretty much screwed.
