Cassel did, does, and will always suck

I had backed off on my Cassel hate in the second half of the season because he actually started to play with a modicum of competence. But I never stopped being wary of him, because he was playing well against shitty, shitty ****ing teams.

But today is proof positive that Cassel is NOT the answer. He will NOT be a franchise quarterback. He simply doesn't have the ability or the intelligence that is required. He never really progressed this season; he just managed to not shit himself against the NFC West.

Can we all just agree that he's not the answer? Please?

In the end for Matt it ends up like this.

Horrid start to the season. Then improved as the season went along. Looked like possibly a top 10 QB. But layed an edd (along with several other teammates) in the playoffs with perhaps his worse game of the year when it matters most.

I just think QB for the foreseeable future is a big question mark.

The fact is that Croyle played better against the Ravens than Cassel did. That's not an opinion. That's a fact. Now, the circumstances were very different in each game, and I'm not suggesting they should have started Croyle, because that would have been a disaster, too. It's just another way to highlight just how bad Cassel was today: even Croyle was able to do something other than shit himself against a talented Ravens D.

Cassel did better against the Jets in 2008 than Brady has ever done against them. Does that mean Cassel is better than Brady?

Curtis when he's wide open on the flea flicker. Somebody who doesn't play for the Ravens when he has literally ten seconds to throw. If he's really grown as a quarterback, maybe he reads the defense and calls a hot route. A real quarterback finds ways to get the ball to the receiver.

If you can show me that there was literally nobody even the least bit open the entire game, maybe I'll concede that there was nothing Cassel could have done. Good luck, asshole.
