Ron Paul Deceived. BucEyedPea Believed. (The Fabricated Reagan Quote)

I mentioned this in an earlier thread, but I wanted to create a separate thread where BucEyedPea can feel free to admit that Ron Paul was wrong or argue endlessly with me about it if she's still in denial without hijacking another thread.

In July of 2006, Ron Paul got up in front of the House of Representatives to speak in opposition to a resolution condemning Hezbollah's attack against Israel. In his statement, he quoted Ronald Reagan to bolster his case. I should say he "mis-quoted" Reagan though, because as it turns out the quote was FABRICATED.

Since then, BucEyedPea has repeatedly referenced that quote here on the pages of ChiefsPlanet. At last count, I've seen her reference it no less than 16 times. What's with these appeasement conservatives and their need to pretend that Ronald Reagan would have approved of their misguided, neo-isolationist message?

See my next two posts for the details.

Ah, memories. This thread - it delivers.

But I have to admit I missed her semi annual meltdown today. What did she get all twisted up about?

I have had her on iggy for 6 months now, but from the ones I see in quotes, she worked up a pretty healthy lather in the "IRS investigating Ron Paul" thread

I don't get this. You are missing out on some of the funniest, craziest shit you will ever read. Why would you purposely avoid that?

For a long time I was fascinated, but after that I just felt like she was an inconsequential annoyance, burying every thread in mindless label-it-and-kill-it or reducing debate to gibberish by redefining terms ad infinitum.

You do almost admire her ability to recite boilerplate she has read on other websites, but after a while you start to recognize that it's like listening to someone lie. They repeat the lie the same way, the way they've practiced or been coached to, over and over. When people start to deconstruct it or start bringing argumentation that requires actual cohesiveness, they can't do it, and smoke comes out of the ears.

I have run a few trolling projects around here before but nothing that reaches the level of that masterpiece, if she were one. But I don't think she is. It's a truth-is-stranger-than-fiction thing.

No question. But don't forget you are a retard.

You might want to write yourself a note and put it in your wallet. Or maybe magic marker in your undies. Or ask TJ where he puts his note.
