Holy Cow. My buddy picked this up on Blu Ray. I watched the first episode and about told him to shove it. Goddamn that first episode was terrible. After that it kept ascending. Shit got real during and after the whore episode and crosses the line to ****ing amazing during the Revelation and Kill Them All episodes. It got to be where I couldn't wait to see the next episode. I really REALLY didn't think that would happen after the first episode.

I was amazed that they could manage SO MANY different story lines. It was really good.

The acting towards the end was out****ingstanding. Particularly on Crixus' part. The dude that played Varo was very good also. His goofy grin added a lot of comic relief.

Overall, it was a very good series (with a shitbox start).
