I agree. I don't think he will go after them. That scene was just to reiterate Walt's biggest motivation, which is his fear of dying an insignificant man. Even with his original intentions of cooking meth to leave his family some money, that was based on his fear of dying as an insignificant man. He could have died and he knew Hank and Marie would take care of his wife and kids. But that made him feel insignificant - having another man take care of his family. He wants to be the man. The biggest scene that really hammered that home for me was when they had the backyard cookout and Hank was trying to stop him from giving Junior the alcohol. Walt doesn't want Hank being the authority of the family. It all comes back to pride and ego, which I think every man has deep down.

These writers can make anything happen. I think seeing them in the next to last episode is significant.

Yeah, it was significant in motivating Walter White's final actions. But I don't think those final actions will have to do with them.

Even when Walt handed him over to the AB and put a hit on him, it was hardly different than the Gale/Jesse situation. Walt had to choose. Jesse or him. I think we will see something redeeming between them, despite the clear hatred. Could be way off though.

That's the biggest unknown about the finale to me. How the relationship between Walter and Jesse will end.

I did the first few times as well.

They took the time to have Robert Forster record a message as the shop owner.

Shrug. I thought it was cool. They certainly didn't have to bother.
