Anyone play this? Completely different animal than Fanduel. In football, **** your Kicker. You get a flex guy. In NBA **** your 2 PG, 2 SG, 2 SF, 2PF, and 1C. You get 1 of each, a flex guard, flex forward, and a utility player that can be anyone. It's definitely a different animal, and players can be priced differently on the two sites. Interesting to say the least.

I bit the bullet and joined tonight for access to insider rotogrinder info, 100% match deposit, and a $2 ticket into tonight's 30k guaranteed payout.

My first lineup is;

PG

D. Sloan $5,200 swap out
SG

J. Harden $10,300 swap out
SF

C. Copeland $6,300 swap out
PF

L. Aldridge $8,900 swap out
C

C. Kaman $3,500 swap out
G

E. Fournier $4,900 swap out
F

C. Frye $5,200 swap out
UTIL

N. Hilario $5,700 swap out
REMAINING SALARY: $0

P.S - Hootie, I'm playing around with it and while I think the formatting is uglier, I think I'm going to end up liking it better. It's very efficient.

So I played my one free lineup tonight and it was an abortion. Learning curve here no doubt. Winner had Reggie Jackson as his utility guy. I have some learning too do.

Challenge accepted!

Just a complete time drain between trying to work both of these sites. I don't blame anyone else who doesn't want to **** with it. I've got the time for the rest of football season, and the 1st half of basketball season so I'm rolling with it.

This will probably end up being a repository of my lineups, successes, and failures. I'm going to post it because I'm curious to see the curve to this compared to when I first jumped into fanduel. Frankly, I don't expect it to take as long to start making a few bucks here and there as I put the work in already to figure out who's who in the NBA.

One thing that I find fascinating about DK vs FD is that on DK they give you a player's opponent stats. What I mean by that is they'll tell you Steph Curry is playing the 29th rated defensive PG tonight. Fanduel gives you no info other than what that player has done in previous games, and DK gives you that as well. Kind of interesting wrinkle IMO.

Wow. Another interesting wrinkle is that DK has a subsection that shows your rosters. Not just upcoming, but ones you've used in the past. I'm really starting to dig the interface of DK as I dig into it, but I've still seen less than 10%. Maybe less than 5%.

I'm also starting off very slow. I played a free $2 ticket into the 30k guarantee last night and it was an abortion. Here was my lineup;

PG Donald Sloan 29.5 lock
SG James Harden 51 lock
SF Chris Copeland 30.25 lock
PF L. Aldridge 37.75 lock
C Chris Kaman 32.75 lock
G Evan Fournier 41.5 lock
F Channing Frye 20.5 lock
UTIL Nene Hilario Q 15.5 lock

There's only 4 games going on tonight. So I'm loaded for bear on Warriors, Mavs, and Nets. We'll see how this works out...It will be my only roster for the day. I may tweak it as news comes out, but frankly I'd rather not have too. I'm pretty comfortable with it.

PG Stephen Curry 50.1 swap out
SG Joe Johnson 34.3 swap out
SF Draymond Green 30.5 swap out
PF Kevin Garnett 24.1 swap out
C Tyson Chandler 29.3 swap out
G Devin Harris 22.7 swap out
F Mike Dunleavy 22.8 swap out
UTIL Mike Conley 30.2 swap out

And yet another wrinkle. DK gives you bonus points for 3 pointers, and shot efficiency. Guess that means no Kobe in DK.

I'm garbage all over again tonight. All it takes is 1 bad play, and Wroten was horrible. I should've never taken that gamble, but with 4 games I took my chances. Conley was great, I had him as my utility. Hope you're winning some dough! Welcome to the DK club!

I run variety out there myself. It's had good results for me, but I do mix up the games I play in.

I've tried FD.

Is there a better interface, signup bonus, etc on draftkings?

I'd prefer to stick to one site and I haven't tried DK's yet...
