John Kerry: Secretary of State?

What do you think about this? I remember Kerry's "passing the global test" line from the debates. I wonder if Obama subscribes to the same test.

Little info, you don't just decide you don't want to do things anymore because your unit's orders changed. If that were the case no one would of fought in the war.

Donger claimed that Kerry "lied" about this, there's plenty of room to question that allegation, as I've shown. That's really what we were arguing about, though I don't think any of your ranting really touched on the argument we were having.

It's like every post that you make, you have to stop typing just for a second so you can breathe into your brown paper bag again, and then you return to typing. You might want to take a second to actually read and try to understand what was posted.

He volunteered for Swift boats, yes, thinking when he volunteered that their mission wouldn't change. He would have been under orders even if they had not.

So, in summary, he volunteered serve on a swift boat, and as a consequence of that volunteering, he wound up in the river delta, which objectively was one of the more dangerous assignments in the war.

Yeah, it sounds like he's a regular Richard Nixon here.
