Yeah, so I saw a lot of movies this weekend.

Elizabeth: The Golden Age - Mediocre, at best. Slow and dragged on. Shorten it to 2 hours and it's golden. It's not, so it fails.

Michael Clayton - Amazing. Everything about it is awesome. However, it's VERY complex and mind bending. You have to think, so be prepared. I still feel like I'm missing key details of exactly what happened. Gotta see it again.

Across the Universe - Perfect is one word that comes to mind. It just works. And, contrary to many people I bet, the movie is best viewed sober. Trust me.

surprisingly boring considering the reviews. I love Craig as Bond, but Casino Royale is still the best.

I liked the plot of Skyfall and the unexpected.
of course, I 'm a huge Bond fan though.

I have a question to those of you who have seen End Of Watch

WTF was that at the end,you have officers who have called for help and are trapped and yet it takes forever for the troops to arrive.Does anyone think that it was meant that way i.e. they were supposed to die and the cartel had gotten to dispatch,other officers etc,or did I miss something?

It's been a while since I saw it, but IIRC in real time it was supposed to be something like 5 to 7 minutes. An analysis I read indicated that with units being spread out, that was not a totally unrealistic response time.

A lot of LEOs seem to think the movie as a whole was very realistic.

I thought Skyfall was great, loved the angle of how he's getting old and beat up, nothings coming easy anymore. Bardem was nothing short of incredible, THAT guy does a great bad guy.

Its right up there with Casino Royale, and the action scenes are the grandest of the new franchise.

I liked Skyfall almost as much as Casino Royale. The ending wasn't great but I liked seeing Bond with a sawed off shotgun and driving the db5.

I agree. In fact, I probably like it more than Casino Royale; just by a smidge though.

I like how everything ties together at the end, for not only this particular Bond, but for alot of his background etc.

Agreed on the makers delving into his background as much as they did, i was glad they did that.

If anyone likes Mike Bribiglia, he's got a nice sleeper film called "Sleepwalk with me." Short and just pure entertaining film.

I thought the ending was a bit of a cop out.

Just finished watching it and it's now one of my favorites and totally agree with SF Bardem was a great villain.
