Yeah, so I saw a lot of movies this weekend.

Elizabeth: The Golden Age - Mediocre, at best. Slow and dragged on. Shorten it to 2 hours and it's golden. It's not, so it fails.

Michael Clayton - Amazing. Everything about it is awesome. However, it's VERY complex and mind bending. You have to think, so be prepared. I still feel like I'm missing key details of exactly what happened. Gotta see it again.

Across the Universe - Perfect is one word that comes to mind. It just works. And, contrary to many people I bet, the movie is best viewed sober. Trust me.

I found it... OK, at best. Kato was cool... and I'm a Rogen fan, so the first half kept me interested. The back and forth between them was funny. Kinda lost me when they stopped that and went all action for the ending. I got bored.

Yeah I'm a Rogen fan as well which is why I rented it. It was disappointing. Some actors need to stick to what they're good at if you don't have the range.

Thor was very disappointing. Damn them. Damn them to Hell!!!

Thor was one of my favorite Marvel characters and Branagh screwed it up big time. Such potential. Such waste. I even thought that, if Branagh could introduce a Shakespearean tone to the thing, it would be perfect. Instead, they merely appear to prefer selling action figures to 8 year-olds. Now we have to do a reboot already. Will there ever be a Marvel movie that can live up to Iron Man? I'm beginning to think not. I give this film 73 Rat Fetuses In A Jar.

watched "The Other Guys" last night. Really enjoyed it for what it was.
I didn't expect much to begin with, but ended up being pretty surprised. Lots of awkward scenes/situations that were funny...and holy hell...Eva Mendez.

JFC...wow.


Also watch a quick 50 minute or so documentary/commentar called "The End of America".
It was interesting; a few viewpoints I didn't necessairly subscribe to, but engaging nonetheless.

And Naomi Wolfe should be in the "Would You" thread.
