Bob Fescoe gets called out on twitter for having multiple burner accounts

Use of burner accounts to:

1. Self-righteously respond to himself.

2. Defend himself or attack those attacking him.

3. Vulgar sex-related tweets

4. Follow white supremacist twitter accounts

Very long ass tweet story here but here are the highlights.

What an assclown.

Bob’s show is on the decline so I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s true to garner more attention. Mike Welch got let go because they couldn’t afford him anymore. Not because he was any good but because the morning show is struggling pretty bad so they didn’t renew his contract.

I used to listen to 610. Even know some people that used to work in their sales department.

They seem like nice guys, but they’re just not that talented. Which is what you get being the 33rd ranked market in the business. You’re not going to get great radio with lesser talent like that. If you are talented you either leave to go make more money at a larger market or you elect to stay in KC if you want to make it your home. But there’s only so much they’ll pay you in that market.

Binkley is more of a fan than he is smart about sports. And he doesn’t really belong on the radio. He’s just a fan that loves sports. I bet he’s making the minimum you can make.

Henry Lake stutters way too much to be on the radio. And he doesn’t give a shit about KC sports. I’ve heard they have to make him go to the ballparks and do field work. He’s still pissed he got fired from his hometown Minnesota station.

Klingler is just there. No effort given.

Carrington is ok. He’s not a natural at all. I’ve heard he’s always late. Like to everything job related. Didn’t have to work for his gig, got it because he knew Nick Wrong. He’s more like a BJ Armstrong or John Paxon. Role player. He’d be better with an alpha host like Parkins was.

Fanning wasn’t renewed at channel 5 because he got old and uglier. 610 has low standards. Match made in heaven.

Personally, I do not mind Brad Fanning. I don't get the hate for the guy. He's a nice guy, jovial and is a little quirky.Everyone says they hate him. Compared to Fescoe, Ron Hughley, Kietzman etc. You kidding me? Those guys are all bumbling idiots.
People don't like Brad Fanning because he doesn't bring anything, he's like having a dude you work with who really doesn't have much to say unless you bring up his family or softball league.

Why are people still listening to over the air radio anyway? There are many good and current Chiefs, KU. MU, Royals etc. podcasts? You can get the current talk on the subject you want to hear not whatever the radio hosts decides to talk about.

I know some people like the FM banter crap, hey what did you do this weekend? Remember that time we did this etc. but not my cup of tea. I listen to get info on the sport not listen to mindless banter.

I don't catch it very often because I'm usually on the bike, but isn't the Border Patrol where they talk about stupid crap like what some celebrity did or their favorite movies, etc? It's supposed to be a sports show but they fill it with nonsense.

This is another thing that I don't understand...these shows are all 4 hours long, and they just cover local shit. This time of year there isn't 4 hours of material and then people get mad about "talk sports" unless you'd literally like them to repeat the same shit 10 times a day 5 times a week that isn't possible.

Think about how many people only listen on their drive to work. I only get about 10-15 minutes at a time. So yes, I would like them to repeat stuff. It would be like Sportscenter, repeat the days sports news over the hour, every hour.

The majority of the time they are talking sports but let's be honest there is only so much you can talk about the Royals right now, Chiefs and the college sports are in the offseason. They have to fill time with something. That's pretty much any sports radio show right now.

NFL radio on Sirius is fairly boring right now too.

I like Binkley, he's a fan more than anything and I think that makes him more relatable than any show runner outside of Steven St. John. Henry Lake is just bad, he makes way too many obvious, lazy points that it's hard to take him seriously as a host. He also goes against the original contrast they were trying to make with pairing him with Jay Binkley, I see what they were thinking, they just picked the wrong guy for the job. I think if you put Binkley together with Carrington, I would listen to that show.

Fescoe is Keitzmann, Keitzmann is Fescoe, they both are tied for worst radio host in KC for me. The only difference is Keitzmann will discuss unpopular sports during down times of Chiefs and Royals that make him really boring. At least Fescoe will talk Chiefs until the cows come home, he wont switch to bass fishing, or bowling to maintain small areas of fans, so he gets points from me on that one.
