I dunno, a team they went 4-13 against while getting outscored by 40 runs or a team they were 4-3 against and outscored by 8.

Be careful what you ask for...

This all day! I find it joyful that the Royals are America's sweethearts right now and the Kittens are about to be sent packing.

I would much rather play Baltimore over Detroit. Let those Dirty Birds beat the Tigers.

No, screw Detroit, both the team and the city.

I'd rather play Baltimore, and if we don't go to the World Series, I'd rather it be the Orioles than the Angels or Tigers.

Not-so-bold prediction:

When/if the Royals play the Orioles in the ALCS, Alex Gordon will win the ALCS MVP.

Think about what Alex has done in that ballpark in the past several years. He just crushes the ball there, for whatever season.

And isn't it awesome to think about these types of things? Let's go beat the Angels tonight, put a choke hold on the ALDS, and get this thing done on Sunday.

Fangraphs now has us at 26% to win the pennant, and 11.1% to win the world series.

But we were also spotted a win just to get there, so its not completely even. We are only 59.3% to beat the Angels, even though we're up 1-0. If we were evenly matched, it should be about 75%

Lineups are up. Same lineup as before for us. The Angels flipped Freese and Aybar.

Do you realize some casual baseball fans will be seeing Yordano Ventura for the first time tonight?
