Worst BBQ restaurant you've ever ate at?
Went to a place call A Little BBQ Joint in Independence today. Sign outside said Burnt Ends soon to be world famous, so I go in and get the burnt ends, BBQ beans, and Cole slaw. Sides weren't terrible, but the burnt ends taste like they had beef jerky rub, were fairly tough and the saltiest thing I've ever eaten. I'm not a picky eater and I could barely finish the burnt ends.

So, what's the worst place you've had BBQ?

that's exactly my stance on it. used to go all the time,and after years of going there I though "you know....this isn't even all that good" Stopped for a good 7 years the tried it again on a whim......still sucked.


granted, I've only eaten their sammiches....but man, they were bad. anymore finding good beef/brisket in this town that isn't like chewing a boot is becoming harder and harder.

I've eaten Famous Dave's twice, while traveling on the road. It was fine for chain BBQ.

I live in Central Florida, and there is shit, shit, SHIT BBQ here. Even the local, mom and pop stuff. Greasy meat, dry brisket, way-too-sweet sauces ... I have yet to find a decent Q. I'll keep looking, but I've been disappointed so many times that I'm beginning to lose hope, and tired of spending the money when I should just stick to local-caught seafood.

Gates in my experience is really inconsistent, I've had times where it was good and times where it was super fatty.

Mainly just the brisket. I have a Gates about half a block from my office, and I get the Pork/Brisket/Turkey on bun quite often. I've only had issues with the brisket. The pulled pork is excellent every time.

FYI... don't bother with the Nooner. It's awful.

I just moved to the Orlando area, and can vouch for this. IT SUCKS! Let me know if you find a decent place.
