Rooting for failure sucks. And it's hard to be consistent with it.

But it seems to be what is best. Yet the Kermit supporters will still insist he deserves at least 4 years and that no one coach will want to come to Mizzou if Missouri fires him after two disastrous seasons.

I haven't heard anything.

But...

Gill-Caesar has spent the entire summer in Canada. That made sense when he was going to play for Team Canada in the Pan-AM or whatever. Now? The excuse is he's taking an 8-week course and finishing it up OR that his back is too bad to make the long flight.

And Mizzou is heavily pursuing additional 2015 options (they have called Andre Adams every day since he became eligible and are all over him) despite having 13 scholarship players already signed.

That tells me either someone is going to give up his scholarship and walk on, or a surprise player isn't coming back.

Occam's Razor makes it pretty clear who that guy is.

If they're not at least .500, you can certainly justify moving on.

If they have another disaster season, and Anderson is entering Year 3 looking to pick up his 20th win, it's hard to justify anything else.

EDIT: And this is why this hire was a really stupid ****ing idea from the beginning. To satisfy blue hair Norm homers, Missouri hired a low-upside guy with no D1 track record and a HUGE bust potential.
