It's really quite simple if you shelve the notion that Obama's all about attacking Palin. What in his speech was remotely partisan?

[edit] I'm reading on AP that the outbursts of cheering etc. were for Saturday's heroes.
Obama's speech, by turns somber and hopeful, at times took on the tone of an exuberant pep rally as he heralded the men who wrestled the gunman to the ground, the woman who grabbed the shooter's ammunition, the doctors and nurses who treated the injured, the intern who rushed to Giffords' aid. The crowd erupted in multiple standing ovations as each was singled out for praise.

Just like the standing ovation for Hernandez when Brewer recognized him in the AZ legislature earlier. WTF are you bitches whining about?!!
I didn't say anything about partisan. But his speech DID incorporate politics. I don't think that was necessary or acceptable. He didn't need to mention gun control, for example.

Ironic that you should mention gun control. That's one of the only bi-partisan things going on (see Peter King, R NY).

Orange, who started all that screaming and yelling not even hours after the tragedy? I'll tell you, Krugman, MSNBC, CNN and the Democrats, that's who.

If you want to be pissed off about the screaming and yelling then you need to address your anger towards those who chose to try and exploit this not even minutes after it happend for political gain.

Didn't need to be addressed tonight. Tonight should have been for those who died and those who were injured and paying respects to them and their families. Why is that so hard for people to understand?

You are wrong. You seem to think this was a memorial service. I was not. It was an opportunity to give a prime time speech.

That should help you understand this deal better.
