Federal marijuana bill would legalize some cannabis strains

Just the pot that does not get you high.

http://www.cnn.com/2014/07/28/health...html?hpt=hp_t1

A bill being introduced Monday in the U.S. House of Representatives could be Cox's ticket home. The three-page bill would amend the Controlled Substances Act -- the federal law that criminalizes marijuana -- to exempt plants with an extremely low percentage of THC, the chemical that makes users high.

Oh gosh there are some amazing topicals. I would swap out the stuff in her lotion bottle. Or if honesty is your route, come do a thc infused couples massage.

She won't want to leave.

I think you get the picture.
The corn and soybean farmers could (likely) grow other stuff. The seed companies, though, are another story.

Obviously Paul was the voice of legalization and the other guy opposed it. The Oklahoma guy said "If people need THC for their ailment, there's a THC pill for it. No need to smoke it." It was so funny. Marijuana is bad, unless you want this pill made by big pharma...then it's all ok. ****ing douchebag.

Oh I found it. He's a former Congressman from Oklahoma (wow...Oklahoma...imagine that). He uses the same old arguments. Gateway drug, more tar than cigarettes, harmful substances blah blah blah. "The war on drugs has reduced teenage pot usage by more than 25%!!" As if that statistic could possibly be ****ing accurate. More government/big pharma propaganda to keep this prohibition active.

That's why I specifically said "lobby", not "farmers".

Marijuana use has waned because there's so many more opportunities to get high. Designer drugs, X, huffing, etc. Kids have options now that they didn't have before. The whole "War on Drugs is working" argument is ****ing garbage. It's working so good that honest Americans disappear if they get too close to the Mexican border.

Crazy how that works. Absolutely impossible for me to disagree with any of what you just said.

Years back I was a daily pot smoker & was driving truck. That was back when CDL's first came out requiring drug tests. I couldn't work until I peed clean. I just up & quit smoking cold turkey.

Now these frickin' pills I'm on...been on since '04. When she prescribed the oxys' to me I immediately thought, "what's with these, I'm not in that much pain?" I've been hooked ever since.

I've quit them to the point I was only taking one or two when the withdrawals started. Seemed like something always happened to delay it.
The withdrawals burn right through any THC induced mind.

Only reason I haven't stopped the narcs is I just don't have the will power to make it 2 weeks. There's more drugs you can take to help ease the transition but all you're doing is getting addicted to whatever it is they're using.

To think I use to hate taking pills. Now I gotta take a dozen of all colors'/sizes of them every night to help with stuff like my bowel, heart & bladder.

Yeah I was totally against going the methadone/suboxone route. I've heard from too many people that those are even more difficult to get off of. What I did was taper slowly until I was taking so little every day that one day I could quit. I still didn't feel good for a few days but it was nothing compared to if I had just stopped after taking 150mg of oxy per day. I got down to about 10mg per day before I stopped completely.

Not to mention there's so many more prescription painkillers in mom and dads (or grandma and grandpas) medicine cabinets and kids are now privy to the high they can get from those. I'm tellin ya, those damn things are so much more prevalent now.
