I don't think I've ever eaten at a Captain D's. Every city I've ever moved to, I always see the recently vacated building where a Captain D's used to be. The powers in charge must not want me to eat it I guess? "He's moving to Tulsa. Disassemble that god dab Captain D's immediately! LONG JOHN SILVERS ONLY FOR THIS ****FACE"

Love me some Capn D's. Haven't had it in a couple years but chicken/fish/clams with some fries and hush puppies is the bomb. 6 Malt Vinegar packets.

At least in my memory, it was better than LJS. MoF, Cap'nD was right across from LJS in Grandview, and we never went there.
LJS is bland and gets all its flavor from tartar, cocktail and malt. Cap'nD had some spices and felt less 'fried hunk of stuff'

Is Arthur Treachers still around. Back when I was young they were outstanding. But a lot of things were . If they are still around they could have suffered the fate of LJS once proud now is a drippen mess of greasy fish.

One site had a menu, and prices were in the $10-15 range for meals, so I think they'd have to be higher quality than LJS to merit it. http://www.salvatores.com/at/
