Agree 100%

Except for a small stretch this year Shields just hasn't had his stuff. It seems all of those innings are catching up to him. He's still a gamer and I'd like to keep him but Ace is going to be the Ace moving forward. Losing Shields isn't devastating if you get a solid guy to replace him. He's solid but he's not elite.

I've really never watched baseball much in my life. My only spectator's sport is the NFL and with that it's mostly Chiefs.

This postseason has made me a fan of two KC teams.

GO ROYALS!

Baseball was my first love. In particular Royals baseball. My dad would always take me. However, this last 20 years it's been hard to get into as they stopped putting out a competitive product. Plus the strike year that they never finished turned me off. These last few years I've been slowly ramping up. I watched games whenever I was home and really enjoyed the season. I was really happy just to have something to get into between basketball and football. What is going on right now is way beyond what I expected when I walked into a packed electric K last weekend it brought tears of joy to my eyes. I seriously NEVER thought the Royals would be relative again the way baseball is set up. As much as I have bagged on Moore, Yost, Hosmer and Moose they are showing me up right now and I love every second of it. So cool to see everyone responding and America eating us up.

Hence why I posted the smiley

Just win. It would just be nice to get to see the win.

Unfortunately, I was unable to watch the game but listened to it on the radio. It sounded like a great game.
