Or you could put in Colon, who almost never strikes out, is a great contact hitter. Isn't the fastest player in the world but isn't slow either and would probably beat out 50-60% of the DP balls Butler would. Would just like to know someone's thoughts on this who's smarter than me.

A bunt by Billy would have really caught them by surprise, and probably scored the run from third, but who knows if Billy has ever been called on to bunt?

I was talking about bunting with Gore, or swinging away for a grounder with Colon whos a great contact hitter.

At this point, we have to stick with Billy. Just like I said before the playoffs with Moose. He's our guy, and I knew the DP was gonna happen, but whatever. Winning that game was so huge. We had no business doing so, and it's awesome we did.

I literally told my friend watching with me that I was going to break the jukebox if Ned didn't bring Davis back out. Ned did. I was happy. And shocked. Ned was awesome. I still go Finnegan against Flaherty but even I admit that may be revisionist history for myself
