Just clarifying but PS4 will also have 64 players and will run at 60fps.

I never really got into Battlefield but if there is a multiplayer demo available in the PS store I might wind up buying BF4.

Welcome to 2005 PC gamer world.

As far as the processors being slightly different you are correct, and the ps will use ddr5.

They still will have far less power than a budget gaming PC which can be built for only a hundred or two more, and if you wanted to build a system with comparable power you can pick through a dustbin and get some previous gen crap for the same amount of money.

That being said, nothing wrong with either system, but the assertion that it will 'kill PC gaming' and the like is utterly laughable.

? Games have had that many players for a long time. BF2 and Team Fortress are two older games that come to mind.

Ya 60 fps is cute. My pc rig runs bf3 at 190 fps on low res bout 90 fps in ultra graphics the battlefield games are built for pc then scaled down for console .

Hell I just love the argument that PC gaming is dead every year.. PC gaming won.. Your consoles are PCs now.. The only difference is most of the people dont want the stigma so they chime about their consoles being superior when they are oblivious to the truth..

You do not need a new mid range though. I am still playing pc games on my 06machine thatcompares to console graphics. A smart person can get in to pc gaming very cheap. Sure you can blow 2 to 5k easily, but it is not needed. You just have to know how to shop.

So I played this all weekend on "high" settings (ultra was shit), and my rig is old, but decent. The game runs like complete crap. Its fun, but I have no idea how this is going to look on the xbone or ps4. They wont sacrifice framerate for eye candy so my guess is that it will look like crap and run good. Hopefully they drop some patches to clean it up a bit.

My shitty PC for reference:

Lolz My gaming PC cost me $550(almost 3 years ago)...it's a 2nd generation I7, Asus 7770 video card(2 gb ddr5), 12 gb ddr3 ram.. 120 gb ssd hd. Runs most everything 1920x1080 full speed max settings. My biggest problem? too many games to play.

ya it's a dead scene.

Playing it on the PC until Xbone1 is out. Game runs a lot smoother than the beta.. a lot of fun.
