Most Relevant/Biggest 24 Hours in KC Area Sports?
Switching through the (terrible) sports stations here in Omaha and I've actually been fairly satisfied by the amount of coverage KC Sports is getting right now. Between the ass-kicking Monday night and the best baseball game I've ever witnessed last night, they're really doing a good job covering everything.


Well, except for 1620 that only discusses the ****ing Huskers, what a shit show.

I am a little twerked at the whole, "The Pats suck" angle being focused on more than the domination by KC but what can you do?

I guess my question here is, can any of you remember a time within the last 15-20 years where KC area sports had this much national attention?
It must be great for you guys that don't live in the Midwest... I think the last time we had this much focus was probably the Monday-Nighter between Montana and Elway.... Maybe?

It's hard to beat that for newsworthy things that all happened within a week or so. And we still have the Royals up again on Thursday.

You know, I kinda spaced the big Mizzou win during all this. That was a great game. Pinkel almost "Pinkeled" himself again but that 4th down play was huge.
