Drafturbators: Draft for my needs....

This is a spinoff from TomaMock 2.0.

I want to pick the drafturbators brains. Pretty straight forward; if you were handcuffed to draft the positions listed below in each round...who would YOU draft that round to fill that position?

Your challenge is to draft these positions in their respected round:

1st - DE

3rd - WR

4th - OL

5th - ILB or OLB

6th - CB or S

6th - ILB or OLB

I will crown the winner as soon as a few drafts are posted following this outline.

I'm as confident as you are Sfeich that Fleming will be long gone by round 4. Hell, there is a solid chance he isn't there when we pick in round 3. After Kouandjio, Moses, Mewhort, James, and Fleming, the talent in the right tackle pool dries up pretty quick in my opinion.

On second thought, I agree...I need to change my 4th round pick to G Trai Turner LSU.

Um...why do we have to pick a DE with the first? The team, with four guys at the position in DeVito, Catapano, Bailey and Walker, don't really need a guy like Tuitt or Hageman (the only two real borderline 34 DE prospects in this draft - so you are limiting people to pick between these two guys anyway) who are raw and will need some long term coaching and have questions in the motivation department anyway.

And, for the record, both Bailey and Catapano could be defined as the physical freak type that some people are lusting for when they look at a guy like Hageman.

Bailey's Combine Numbers:

6'3", 285 lbs., 34" arms, 10 1/4" hands
40: 4.77
Bench: 27 reps
Vertical: 36.5"
Broad: 117"

That's one big mother ****er. And if he's 285 at the combine that jacked, he's got to be around 300 this past season with the Chiefs.

Catapano's Pro Day Numbers:

6'4", 271 lbs.
40: 4.75
Bench: 33
Vertical: 37"
Broad: 116"

And Big Cat is theoretically showing up this next season at 290/295.

Both players numbers are exceptional for their size.

So, I ask you again good Sir, why are you forcing me to take a DE with our first round pick?

Are there trades allowed?

I want to participate but I don't want my targeted players to get sniped as a result.

Rules are rules. If we change the “Defensive End in the 1st round rule”, it changes life as we know it. What next, will we revolt against the Adam Carolla and the NaVarro Bowman rules?

If ya don't like it, then don't play.

And no trades.

I dont think Tuitt has run yet. where are you getting the 4.92 from?

Bailey hasnt developed and is in the last yr of his contract. Catapano was a 4-3 DE that was built like a 3-4 OLB but couldnt play that position. Time will tell if he will develop as a 3-4 DE and can maintain his athletic ability at that extra weight. I am not going to pin my hopes on a 7th round pick.

Yes. Added the fact they don't scream "pass rusher" when I watch them, everyone and their mother agree we need to ad another Pass Rusher. This was evident in the 2nd half of the season with the injuries to Houston and Halit. I didn't see either Bailey nor Cat making half the impact that Hali and Houston were making.

Simply a quick and rough estimate.

1st - DE - Stephon Tuitt, Notre Dame - Like I was going anywhere else with this pick.

3rd - WR - Jared Abbrederis, Wisconsin - Best route runner in the draft. Not a burner by any means...but he'll be a good safety valve for Smith. (Alt. Pick - Cody Latimer - I've seen a couple of mocks where he's available in the 3rd...and some where he's gone higher. If he's there in the 3rd....take him over Abbrederis.

4th - OL - Trai Turner, LSU

5th - ILB or OLB - Prince Shembo, ND - Good against the run but needs to work on his pass rushing moves. He'll have a year to get some tips from Hali.

6th - CB or S - Aaron Colvin, Oklahoma - Redshirt his first year in the NFL due to injury.

6th - ILB or OLB - Kevin Pierre-Louis, Boston College

estimate based on what? That sounds completely made up and innacurate.

Thanks for sharing where you got that number from nonetheless.

I know, wouldn't it be great if this were 2008 again and we had 12 picks!
