-- I personally challenge a CP'er to visit Lobb Cemetery in Blue Springs, Mo.

Yeah - apparently it's haunted.

However - Risky considering it's monitored by a neighbor.

There'd need to be a plan in place.

I'm not one to mess w/ the resting - however; I'm always overwhelmed by this sort of thing, if there's any validity to it.

Anyone up for a little urban exploration? - if so; PM me and we can either set up a bump for this thread w/ pics and or video - or you can start a fresh one.

Would anyone be up for this - I swear I'd do it if I lived there still.

Lobb Cemetery Blue Springs, Mo 64014

Description:

feeling of being watched, little boy seen, orbs of light apearing in pictures that wasnt there when visited.

Just a few comments from said visitors:

- watch out for the neighbor
he came out and chased us with his truck on the very curvy roads
but cool place for sure -

-we took pictures and there was orbs everywhere -

- this place has the feeling deff. i have also been up to this place investigating on april 2 yesterday and have recorded 3 either faces or full body apperitions of an old man and small boy and have recorded some orbs but orbs dont prove anything there was also a skeletal figure in on of my pics -

We stopped here briefly and ran some audio. In the 30 minutes or so that we were there, we got several fairly loud EVP. One was a man saying (I think) "hello." Another was a very loud voice of a woman saying, "Oh God... (help me please)." Can't tell for sure because I was talking at the same time.

The place is nice and quiet during the daytime. We were there during the day and we got results--there's no need to go there at night and risk getting an @$$load of buckshot. -

A friend and I went to Lobb a couple months ago doing a report for a speech class proving that ghost are real. I know your not suppose to got there at night but we took the chance. We heard people say they feel like they are being watched so we were talking about how we didnt feel that way at all and then my friend was getting ready to say something and both of our heads turned in the same direction and saw a little boy glide towards us... we didnt say anything but run. When we got in the car we described the exact same thing. Theres were things I was thinking that she said and vise-versa. We went there the next morning to see if it was maybe a flag or something else blowing in the wind and we didnt see anything. I think for sure it was a ghost... i still get scared thinking about what i saw. -

My friends and I have gone a few times. We have gotten out and gone in a couple times, but we have gotten plenty just sitting outside right at the fence or in out car. We have caught sounds of rythmic finger snapping, footsteps, and evp's of voices we are unable to make out along with an evp of something responding to something we are talking about by saying "yes", and a voice saying one of our names.
A word of caution, I was there with 4 other friends. We got out of the car and were in the cemetery for about 30 mins, and a car drove up. They sat right beside our car for a few seconds, and then turned around and sat there again. We started to walk back and we heard "OH THEY'RE THEY ARE!" and they drove away. My personal feeling is to be more worried about what you'll encounter with the living than anything that may not be. -

Ghosts are actually demon spirits that have been captured by the government for the specific purpose of destroying religious folk anf organic farmers. You can protect yourself from these ghosts with vibrating Torahs and Hebrew flutes.

I WANT to believe. I just can't. Not even enough "sketchy" evidence for me.
Someone, please, make me a believer.
I felt the same way until..

Some of my friends used to go on ghost hunts with a couple they knew since high school. Their friends had all the equipment and would get permission to stay the night in "haunted" houses. They recorded the usual noises and stuff but most of it could be explained by wind or whatever.

Then one weekend they stayed up in Atchison at the Sallie House. Everything was going slow until around 2 am. The girl was standing at the bottom of the stairs and starts screaming and crying in pain. She runs out of the house. The rest try to comfort her but she won't go back in. So they pack up their stuff and head home. She starts complaining her back hurts so they stop for some breakfast. The look- and right above her hip is a bite mark swelling up.

Next day they check the camera's and audio equipment. It was on a frequency you could not hear with human ears but when slowed down you could hear "get out, get out". On the tape you could see a round orb flash down the steps right to her back then flash back up just before she starts screaming in pain.

They brought the tape in to my restaurant and I heard it then watched the video-the times matched up perfectly. It was on You Tube for years-not sure if it still is? Needless to say it scared my amateur ghost hunter friends so bad they never did it again. I have no explanation how they could have done that in infrared and timed it like that -if it was a hoax. All four of them were freaked out and she still had the outline of the bite mark several days later when I saw the tape. If it wasn't real- it was the greatest ghost hoax ever. None of them did it again after that. Their friends sold their equipment as well.

Could of had allergic reaction to something in the air.

I am a believer, sadly I have not seen anything, and what I have seen can be proved with other explanations.

I would like to see the video.

One thing I hate about most ghost videos, evps.

Someone will say, did you hear that. But the video and audio some how could not pick it up.

Then, you do not hear anything but the video and audio can pick it up. There are some good evps though, but most are your brain making up words.

We went to some cemetery in Kansas. Stanley maybe? But the "legend" was, if you throw a glass jar or bottle over your shoulder while facing away from the brick wall that was left of some shack there, it wouldn't break. This little building was barely standing, and there was a cellar door inside but we didn't go down there. Looked like a lot of dumb teens had been doing satanic shit there.

We drove forever to get out there in the middle of nowhere just to throw this glass. It broke. Imagine that...

Just so we're clear: you won't smoke pot but you'll (possibly) **** with the spirits of unknown dead persons and purposefully piss them off and try and attract them to you?

Just in the rare instance this is even possible, just saying "what if" here, how do you get them to go away? Leave you alone?

Do they just know to go back when you stop filming? Do they follow you to Pizza Hutt afterwards?

Your house?...
