Fallout 4?

Stolen from reddit.....

Quote:
Bethesda just registered http://thesurvivor2299.com/.

The website is a black screen with some morse code playing. The code is 11.12.13, which fans are speculating to be the reveal date of Fallout 4. Also, the year 2299 is close to the date of the last Fallout game, New Vegas.
So, we can pretty much say that it's happening, right?

EDIT: Credit goes for ButcherDX and the rest of the community on r/Fallout.

UPDATE: Countdown just appeared, it ends in 26 days.

I have MaCready's missions done, and received a wicked perk for doing so: it's called the head hunter perk, or something like that, but whenever I am in VATS I have a 95% chance of hitting the enemy in the head. I have used a shotgun in vats, aimed at the head of a super mutant 100 yards away and popped his head off. I love this perk!

Good info, guys. Thanks.

Has anybody put any effort into building up a settlement to make it look cool? I've just been throwing up wooden floors, walls, and roofs, then putting in a bunch of beds. I've seen some nice settlements on YouTube, though.

I finished the main story on my first play through, at 178 hours btw, and have started a second game where I'm doing more than just the bare minimum on settlements. Nothing too elaborate, but I have built a two story bar with a balcony in sanctuary with a pool table and a juke box so I can get my groove on. I put a mounted Brahmin head on the front of the building and the place would probably make Patrick Swayze proud. And I built up some shit around the drive in theater building. I figure when I get to the Castle, I'll build that up quite a bit.

On this game, I can at least buy and sell from my weapon vendor, even though he never actually stands at the booth. My last game, I could not get it to work at all.

Was looking for a few ideas and ran across this.

Anyone have any tips on how to get ballistic weave? I've done all the Railroad missions, like 2 PAM missions, and 4+ MILA placements with no success.

It's a bug in the fire rate display. I have a few legendary double barrels that say the same thing once you use the largest damage receiver. Still shoots like a double barrel..

Btw, this game blows on the XB1. Frame rate drop in chaotic battles make it near unplayable.

You get it from the DIA Cache mission from PAM. I think the DIA Cache mission is the first mission that PAM gives you.

Yeah, and it didn't unlock from Tinker Tom.

Huh... After I completed the mission and talked to Tinker Tom he referenced the DIA cache and said it contained technology that could improve my armor. After I had that conversation I went to the armor bench and had ballistic weave unlocked.

It's supposed to be in the armor bench?

I just bought some ballistic weave tattered rags from him that increase my luck and can be worn under my actual armor.

I'd prefer other options since I look like a homeless raider.

He sells them too. I just used the armor bench to upgrade my Dirty Army Fatigues because they give me +1 STR and I need more carrying capacity (you can wear them under your armor as well).

I would suggest maxing out whatever you choose to wear under your armor though because at rank 5 of ballistic weave you get 100+ damage reduction as opposed to 30 damage reduction at rank 1.
