Last year it seemed like the Chiefs didn't stick up for Alex Smith on big hits, but they seem to get on people for touching Mahomes. What do you think is up with that?

Last time I saw KC this defensive of a QB it was Montana.

I think teams are more defensive of a QB when they literally understand the success of their season hinges on his health.

It's just funny to me that the guys always talked so highly of Alex but didn't want to stick up for him. Just goes to show you how professionals will just spout the company line. They really love Mahomes, but not as much as I do.

In seriousness, I do agree the o-line had Alex’s back. But there’s an added feeling of “OH DON’T YOU EVEN THINK ABOUT IT!!!” with Mahomes.

These offensive weapons are like kids on Xmas morning when they found out Mahomes was taking over as starter. They know their stat lines are going to shoot through the roof.

Chiefs could have three 1000yd receivers in Hill, Watkins, Kelce, along w/ a 1000yd RB by seasons end. Insane..

Who makes the Pro Bowl this yr...or should I say, who will get voted?

I mean are they going vote for the entire offense? May as well.

If this hot offensive streak continues on, Mahomes is going to shatter every Chiefs QB single season passing record in his 1st yr starting....that's just as much incredible as it is sad.
