On top of that, he said after the loss to TCU ( the second loss to TCU this season by double digits) that he may have ... and I quote ...."over scheduled". No Bruce, you underpformed.

So, while Stan and the Hicks of the fanbase have a Jim Jones koolaide-esque belief that this was all on the players, their rude awakening is coming. Next season when the excuses start flowing after unacceptable losses.

I refuse to blame the season on two players who were suspended for failing a drug test. Or for attitude.

San also mentioned that the players didn't want to do it "The K-State way". Whatever that is supposed to mean. I suppose it means "losing" a lot of losing and doing it with players like Brian Rohleder who could start for Washburn. Maybe.

**** them all.

Every last word of this.

The bigger mistake than hiring Bruce in the first place (which was a massive mistake) was extending his ****ing contract & giving him a raise after 2 years.
Sounds like the AD Mizzou just let "retire".

It's his first hire period. And it's a massive flop. And there's no excuse. When Lon left after 89 because we threw all our $ at football in order not get tossed out of the Big 8, we sat through 13 years of zero tournament appearances.

When the administration finally decided to actually try to win at BBALL by putting money into it, we got Huggs, then Frank and we got 5 consecutive NCAA appearances with at least one win.

Frank was a known commodity, was interviewed on ESPN Radio weekly, was on Rome weekly. Frank was KSU basketball.

And now? We have a shirtucking, lizard tongued, basenji voiced, mow my own yard, ice cream eater who throws his players under the bus at every turn.

Just saw this. Looks like our recruit de-committed and is now entertaining offers. Clemson, Alabama in the mix.

And that was the problem. That "embarrassment" becoming the program was just intolerable. K-State0 strikes again.

I have an extra free ticket to the spring game Saturday if anyone is interested in attending a glorified practice.

So, football season is two weekends away. Can't wait!

This season is going to be a bit of a struggle. Defensively, we are going to be fine, but offensively...........

Worst Case
I'm going with 5-7, which equates to 2-7 in Conf play (wins against @ku and isu)

Likely Case
I'm going with 6-6, which equates to 3-6 in Conf play (wins against @ku, isu & wvu)

Best Case
I'm going with 8-4, which equates to 5-4 in Conf play (wins against @ku, isu & wvu, @tt and either @ut or ou )

Oh, and I'm guessing Jesse Ertz is the starting QB for the opener. We'll see how that goes. I think he's probably the most complete QB we have at the moment, but really, not a qb that is going to win games for us with either his arm or legs.

True Freshman Alex Delton is intriguing, and easily the most athletic QB we have. I think he could be really good, but I'm also guessing that Snyder will RS him. That said, it's hard to believe that he graduated early and played Spring Ball just to RS. Should be interesting to follow this drama all season long, because I highly doubt the QB situation will ever be "settled" in '15.

QB situation should be great this season. Except our best QB is playing at McNeese St.
