Is Kelce a legit TE option?

Especially with Bowe out and the D surely focusing on Charles, I'm wondering if Kelce could be a great play this week. All the stuff about how much the coaching staff is in love with him may not mean much, though, so it's possible they don't actually target him that much.

I'm fixated on him because my TE situation is so uncertain going into the season. I waited maybe a little too long and ended up drafting Fleener, and then I just picked up Jared Cook to have another option. So it feels like there's maybe not much risk but potentially a lot of reward if I scoop up Kelce?

Anyone else thinking about taking their chances, or am I just a hopeful homer?

IMO, Smith doesn't trust him and will target Fasano a lot more often.

I took a flyer on him because there was a run on TEs in my fantasy league earlier than I expected. Hopefully he is our bright spot.

I might take the chance. I think that despite the couple of big plays they tried to hide him during the preseason. Hard to tell though.

He's the #2 TE on a bad offense. Its a lottery ticket at best.

I chose Ebron over him. I just can't commit to a guy who's on this offense and not named Charles

I grabbed him and josh Gordon late in a 12 team just in case. Probably end up dropping Gordon but with the rumors of them trying to spring welker and Gordon free it may be worth sitting on.

I grabbed him in my ffl too. I would consider playing him this week if I didn't already have Vernon Davis.

I drafted him as a #2. Pretty much a low risk pick, with a high potential reward.

Definitely not rolling the dice starting him right out of the gate.

High reward potential, low investment. Give him till week 4ish and drop him for depth if not producing. Little people are aware of him outside of Chief fans.

I have Gronk, Cameron, Heath Miller and Kelce on my team.

I can only play 2 of them at the same time. I need to cut 1 to get another RB spot, who do i cut? Cameron just hurt his shoulder, Gronk who knows when he'll get hurt, so who will actually better for FF? Kelce or Miller, ugh

Cut Miller. Cameron will be a stud if healthy, Gronk has too good a scoring track record (again, if healthy), Kelce has a bunch of upside. A guy like Miller would be a decent TE option like 7 or 8 years ago, but the position has too many playmakers now. Just my opinion, but I go for big upside/homerun potential in TEs these days.
