*** Official Fantasy Football Discussion ***

I have to lock a keeper in the one league I'm participating in.

12 team, head to head PPR league that seems to reward all-star RBs over anything.

1 QB, 2RB, 2WR, 1 TE, 1 FLEX, 1 D/ST, 1 K, Head Coach, 9 bench.

My team:
QBs: Russel Wilson, Case Keenum
RBs: Arian Foster, Ben Tate, Joquie Bell, Roy Helu, Rashard Mendenhall
WRs: Vincent Jackson, Brian Hartline, Hakeem Nicks, Eddie Royal, McCluster
TE: Jason Witten
D/ST: Chiefs, Bills
K: Akers

It seems like I either keep RW3 or Arian.

Had my first draft yesterday. I loaded up on the running backs. They just kept falling and I had to take them...I'm going to use that as a future trade bait tactic. 12 teams. QB1, RB1, RB2, WR1, WR2, WR3, W/R, TE1, K, Def, IDP1, IDP2, IDP3, IDP 4.

I didn't draft a backup QB, TE, K, Def or IDP... I can worry about that later and trade for them or just pick them up on the wire. I am obviously real questionable at TE...again, I think I'll be able to figure someting out if I need to. Here is what I ended up with....

QB: Stafford

RB: Eddie Lacy, Leveon Bell, Doug Martin, Trent Richardson, Mark Ingram (now 1st on Saints depth chart), Devonta Freeman, Terrance West, Darren McFadden.

WR: Cordarelle Patterson, Torrey Smith, Jordan Matthews, Deandre Hopkins, Tavon Austin

TE: Eric Ebron

K: Matt Prater

Def: Buffalo

IDP: Kalil Mack, Daryl Smith, Paul Worrilow, Chris Long

* I am shaky at WR as well, but I'll figure something out....I'm just going to sit back like a snake in the grass and wait for someone's RB to get injured and throw some trade offers at them while they are desperate.

Bell and Blount shouldn't be out more than a game at most this season since it's a first offense.

... right?

I would say it's doubtful that they are suspended this season at all. They're probably looking at next season since it's so close to Week 1.

I'm picking 6th overall in a 12 team league. I am thinking of taking Calvin Johnson. I took him last year at 7 or 8 and never regretted it. What say you? At 18 I take the best available RB.

Bowe got a game and there wasn't even a pot charge. Did they knock their date unconscious? That's worth 2.

JC was the 3rd RB (4th overall) taken in the draft Bob Dole watched tonight.

And someone took Kelce in the 17th. KC defense/special teams went in the 6th.

I don't mind taking a chance on Kelce in the 17th as a backup. If the kid can stay healthy and somehow (but how) dethrone Fasano it could be worth the pick. We all know how much Smith likes dumping off to his TEs.

I took Kelce super late in a draft too. Hes behind LaDarius Green on my team. Big risk, high potential TEs for me.

I was picking 7th in my ppr league and Charles fell to me. I couldn't pass it up. I was really wanting an elite QB though since we can play 2 qbs. I ended up with Big Ben and Brady. Both will give me solid points and Brady can be a beast very often.

If Lacy slips to 6 then you grab him imo. Powerful in between tackles runner on a great offense. After that you can't go wrong with megatron.

I took Jimmy Graham at #7 in a draft yesterday... It was difficult going with a TE so high, but damn, I love solidifying the advantage at the TE position.

One thing I haven't done much of at all, is draft backups/depth at TE, K, IDP, QB and D/ST. Hope that doesn't bite me in the ass.

Had the 8-team league draft last night. I hate 8-team leagues. I prefer 12 or 14-team leagues. Every roster is stacked in an 8-team league. Bleh.

Anyway, I had the 6th pick. First 5 picks saw AD, JC, McCoy, Lacy, and Forte go off the board. I'm not big on BeastMode this year so instead I grabbed Aaron Rodgers and went for RBs (my highest-rated remaining RB was still there) on the way back.

QB Aaron Rodgers
RB Le'Veon Bell
RB Giovanni Bernard
WR Antonio Brown
WR Michael Crabtree
TE Jordan Cameron
Flex Percy Harvin
K Justin Tucker
DEF Seattle

BN Russell Wilson
BN Trent Richardson
BN Fred Jackson
BN Wes Welker
BN Dwayne Bowe
BN Jordan Reed
BN Cincinnati

Luck for $2 seems like a steal. Nice job there.
