Best players available after Round 1

http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap300...ning-prospects

Can't tell me we aren't going to get a good player at 37.

Now, hopefully it's Alexander or Jack..

What's the deal with DAT anyway? Sounds like he showed up to work last week.. so he's not dead or a certain goner, right?

Maybe DAT can still play his DAT gadget role.
I think it's clear that DAT is dead to the Chiefs. They look eager to get rid of him. Can't stay on the field. And even when he can, he doesn't seem to want to play.

exactly. Nothing against Conley. I just don't know. He could be smart as it gets, but a slow learner at football, I can't say.

Yeah, what happened was strange.. and rather unexplained.. but he did show up. I don't want to read too much into it either way.

Just another example of the outside fans not knowing for sure what's going on.

In other words, you can know nothing about being a receiver and contribute right away. Check.

And braxton isn't dumb. He was a Heisman worthy quarterback and progressed faster at receiver in one year than many progressed in four. He has upside to be a real wr and if he does that with his athletic ability? Holy shit.

A WR that can read the D like a QB is a huge advantage.

Not just his man and the safety, but the whole field.

Hines Ward and Antonio Brown both seemed to be better off for it...

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

Here is the way I am perceiving this trade, and the way you should to, because it is in fact probably reality:

Whoever it is Dorsey and co. wants, they knew was going to be available at 37. So, if you're him and you have a choice to either 'reach' for that guy and get no compensation, or move back and add some better draft choices, what would you do?

It's easy. You move back and take the picks, and I think everyone will understand by the end of the night. I'm officially on record saying that I think it's either Alexander or Green from Clemson, and probably Green because he is more likely to make it to 37, meaning the trade back was safer.

I'm not talking about their actual intelligence you ****ing moron. I'm talking about the idea of wasting roster spots on gadget players. It's a stupid attempt to make non NFL guys work that never actually works. They are never the "matchup nightmares" they're supposed to be. Who is the best gadget player you can think of?

To be able to get the best TE prospect in the draft and pair that with Kelce gives us one heck of a duo and creates mismatches for opposing defenses. I'd say that's damn good value to trade out of the first for and is a move that Bellichek has always tried to make for the Patriots. I just like that Henry gives us another talented weapon and provides insurance in the event Kelce is injured.

I wasn't high on the idea but the more I think about it the more I like it.

And lets be honest - when our running game was working everything else did...

That's fine, but if Dorsey didn't want WJIII then he can blow me like a pr0n star.

Dorsey needs to raise the bar
