Official 2015-2016 NBA Regular Season Thread

I don't believe this thread has been started yet, so here you go.

Good start to the season, key guys appear to be relatively healthy. As a basketball fan, good to see the Thunder back at full strength, as a Grizzlies fan notsomuch.

The West is just so deep, hard to figure out who comes out on that side. If the Cavs stay healthy, hard to imagine they don't represent the East.

If we have a group interested in a fantasy basketball league, I'd be happy to set it up.

I don't remember anyone saying that other than perhaps Barkley ("can't win with a jump shooting team"). I think the issue was that the West was stacked, and stacked with playoff tested teams. It was a rough gauntlet for the W's, but they obviously proved themselves.

The refs basically stole that game from the Raptors last night against the Warriors. That streak is almost certainly going to have to come to an end on the road because they get away with everything at Oracle.

This GSW vs. LAC game is ridiculous. Clippers are doing everything they can do to win this game, and they can't put Golden St. away. GS now 6 for 6 from three pt range in the 4th quarter. Only reason the Warriors have run away is they're turning the ball over far too often.

Warriors have taken control. Paul missed two open shots and that was the crack GSW needed. No question who the best team in the league is, if there was any before.

I turned the game off when it was like 35-11 and the Clippers blew that lead?!?!?! How sad.

The homer in me still believes the cavs have something to say about that. They aren't playing lights out. But they're doing pretty well despite major injuries at guard. They beat Milwaukee with delly playing point pretty much all game.

The comment was that the Warriors are undoubtedly the best team in the league. The cavs haven't done much to prove they won't be a hard out for gs if they meet in the finals. The cavs are beating pretty easy competition, but yesterday for example, they beat Milwaukee without their three top guards including kyrie, who is an all star calibre player. Dellevadova played pg pretty much the entire game.

LeBron went lebron in last year's finals and we saw what happened.

Unless kyrie comes back and the Cavs hit a different level with the big 3, they aren't beating the Warriors.

If rise gets healthy, I actually like the Bulls coming out if the eaat

You have everything entirely wrong here.

The cavs made it an extremely competitive series with golden state without kyrie or Kevin love and with shumpert playing hurt. The cavs breezed into the finals last year. When kyrie is back, they are a significantly better team than last year.

I agree golden state is playing lights out. But if the cavs click like they did against Boston in the playoffs when fully stacked and now you add Varejao, MO Williams, and Jefferson as new bench depth, they're going to breeze into the finals and be a tough out in the finals.

"If Rose gets healthy..."

Rose ****ing sucks. He's dead. He may keep playing, but he's dead inside and he's basically dead on the outside. The sooner people accept that, the better, ESPECIALLY the Bulls themselves.

LeBron took 2 games off the Warriors with no Irving or Love and a bunch of scrubs around him playing far too many minutes, so I'm not sure how that series helps your argument.

Yes, they're almost certainly better without him. He hasn't been even an average offensive player since 2011-2012. All he does these days is keep the ball away from an actual elite option in Jimmy Butler.

I don't th8nk lebron can play at that level again, and adding love and kyrie won't make up for that, imo.

However, I did forget love didn't play in that series, so that may change it up
