Atleast Elway is willing to swing for a QB in the 1st round.

He’s not going to trade for a retread Niners QB.

Elway has won more playoff games as a player/GM than the chiefs have in how many years. 40 Something?

Mahomes is no guarantee to be great next year. He looks promising but when defenses learn his game and adjust we will see if he performs. Most QB’s drafted after pick 3 have performed poorly over the past 10 years.

They gave Tebow a try and Mayfield is a better version of that so I wouldn't be surprised at all to see them give a top 5 pick for him. Count me in on being willing to watch the Broncos take that gamble with such a valuable pick.

He's small, 6'1" that he's listed is very generous. Probably closer to 5'10"-5'11". Average arm strength. I think this will cause him to fall out of the first round. Beyond that, his mental questions and off the field issues scare me the most.

That being said, he is the only QB of this QB class to separate himself stat wise. If has any chance of succeeding it will be as a backup somewhere.
