Chrome update mouse scroll issue
Parameters:
Windows 7 or 10
Chrome based browser
Using Flashplayer in full screen mode (online apps,games etc)


Problem: using mouse scroll wheel also triggers left click


Basically can't use mouse scroll wheel because it left clicks on everything as you go. Tried multiple mice, only in Chrome based browsers. I have already reinstalled Chrome twice and Chrome is up to date.

anyone experience this? solution?

Ah yes, common motherboard issue. Make sure computer is turned on with the case open, then pour around a gallon of antifreeze over the motherboard. Should clear up the issue.

I had a similar issue a few months back. Every time I scrolled, the page zoomed. A reboot fixed it.

I suspect my cat walked on my keyboard and accidentally did some sort of hotkey combo.

Change your button functions in your mouse properties?

Sounded initially like a biometric issue to me - but that's an excellent thing to do first!
