This makes sense.

The Fly reminded me of the episode of Star Trek TNG where Picard basically just walked around his vineyard and whined about being kidnapped by the Borg. The two episodes that preceded it were action-packed and two of the best episodes of the series . That episode was worthless, and I always thought the writers and actors were just coasting through it. I hadn't heard the term "bottle episode", but that episode fit the description perfectly.

Jesse figured out Huell took the Ricin.
Then he remembered that Walt found the Ricin in the roomba.
So he then pieced together that Walt lied to him about how the ricin went missing.
It's not a hard leap to then connect the fact that the reason Walt wanted Jesse to see the Ricin was to get Jesse's heat on him off of him, hence, Walt knows how Brock was poisoned. Or just that Walt is still lying.

In fact, there has only been one episode in this entire series that has been a stinker. I am referring, of course, to the episode where Walt chased that goddamn fly all around the lab.
I knew you were gonna say the fly episode even before reading it. Agreed.

He might be pissed about the ricin, might be confused about it. But there is no reasonable connection he could make with the ricin to Brock since he was told by the doctors that ricin had nothing to do with it. I think they really stretched here to find a way to make Jesse turn on Walt.
Because the focus on using poison by them came up over and over in the show. Jesse knows in his gut that Walt will do anything and there is no line he won't cross to cover his ass or get what he wants. The kid being poisoned is a little more than coincidence given their history with trying to use this method. Jesse sees through Walt's bs speech in the dessert and then gets his pocket lifted again and while he may not have it pieced together he knows that mere coincidence and poisoning was somehow a result of Walt's doing as it was another means to manipulate Jesse to Walt's advantage. He didn't have to know, but it was enough to throw an already unstable person over and see there was no innocent coincidence only to be confirmed by Saul.

Best episode this series has had in a long time (not that the two previous were lacking in any way either). So much tension throughout and that confession scene was pretty incredible television.

I was rooting for Jesse to get the hell out of town and away from Walt, but it's great to see him finally lash out against that manipulative piece of shit for all that he's done to him. For Walt, there will be no talking his way out of this one. Jesse is not someone who can be controlled any longer. It's been a long time coming, but Jesse's realization is the beginning of the end of the primary relationship that defined this series. Will it now be enough for him to help Hank take down Walt?

That's what I hope happens. The two characters I've always rooted for are Jesse and Hank.

Yeah. I've watched it twice. The fact that there's something to "get" doesn't mean it's not an incredibly boring 48 minutes. For example, I "get" the rules to basketball, but it is still boring to watch.

To you guys that are complaining about Jesse's epiphany about the poisoning:

Remember that Jesse is completely mentally unstable and on edge right now. It really doesn't matter if Jesse reached the correct conclusion or something completely untrue because right now any little thing could cause him to snap. In the end, it doesn't matter if he was really tricked by Saul or Walt or not. All that matters is what Jesse believes in his own mind and that made him freak out.
