draft order tiebreakers

1) non-playoff team pick first vs playoff team

2) If the teams were both playoff teams, team eliminated in earlier round picks first.

3) strength of schedule for each team. The team with the weaker SoS measure would pick first

4) If record/SOS tied and are in the same division or conference, use division and conference records to break ties.

5) coin flip determines who goes first.

Picking at #2 is really interesting. Do you trade up for Geno Smith? Or do you assume that someone else trading up is going for Barkley?

I think, at that point, it becomes an insane landscape of teams trying to figure out what each other is doing.

Under no circumstances do I think that Cleveland drafts a QB though.

Not when they still have so many holes to fill on their team. They'd trade down and get as much talent as they can.

I think if you're a team who has identified Geno (or Barkley for that matter) as your guy, you don't take a chance.

You move up one spot and get the QB you want all along.

Can't help but wonder how the QB rankings will change between now and draft day. Geno should be happy that they're not playing K-State again.

By the draft they will have a new owner, GM, front office, coaching staff. The chances they take a QB are as high, if not higher, than us...

If the Browns end up in front of us it is probably a positive since they haven't been able to draft a good QB since......shit I don't know. They can take the QB that wouldn't make it in the NFL anyway so we don't have to worry about that part of it.

If I pick #1 and am not in need of a QB, I trade the #1 pick to the Chiefs(picking #2 in this scenario), and trade the #2 pick to the highest bidder of teams after the remain QB of Geno/Barkley.

Official odds for the overall #1 pick. Rock on!

KC 50%
Jax 22%
Cleveland 12%
NO 8%
Field 8%

KC has a 92% chance of having a top 5 pick.
