I agree. I don't think he will go after them. That scene was just to reiterate Walt's biggest motivation, which is his fear of dying an insignificant man. Even with his original intentions of cooking meth to leave his family some money, that was based on his fear of dying as an insignificant man. He could have died and he knew Hank and Marie would take care of his wife and kids. But that made him feel insignificant - having another man take care of his family. He wants to be the man. The biggest scene that really hammered that home for me was when they had the backyard cookout and Hank was trying to stop him from giving Junior the alcohol. Walt doesn't want Hank being the authority of the family. It all comes back to pride and ego, which I think every man has deep down.

That's the biggest unknown about the finale to me. How the relationship between Walter and Jesse will end.
