This is the first time

I've been a Chiefs fan for 20 years and I have to say that this is the first time I'm embarrassed to call myself a fan.

I know this has been talked about a little bit, please forgive me, I need to purge.

One of the reasons I started watching this team is because the fans, team and organization have always been a class act. ( for the most part)

But that display by the defense last night was down right unacceptable. What happened to celebrating with a high five or jumping up to bump each other etc. without the showboating tactics?

This is tacky and classless. I would have sat every one of those guys out on the next series.

They should be embarrassed and apologizing to the fans for such a ridiculous act. Good behavior starts with discipline, which starts with the coach.

That is all

Honestly, the Bowe taunt made me the most upset. I would love to see him get cut today.

Why can't NFL players be like my dad and I, who kept our heads down, clocked in for work every morning at 6 AM and left at 5 at night? We brought our lunch pails to work, worked our asses off, and that's how we got a raise after 10 years! And damn it, we'd come home at night and our loving wives would have dinner on the table ready to welcome us home with a kiss!

What's happened to this goddamn country??

Why can't NFL players be more like Wes Welker and Tom Brady?

Good times for a change
See, the luck I've had
Can make a good man
Turn bad

So please please please
Let me, let me, let me
Let me get what I want
This time

Haven't had a dream in a long time
See, the life I've had
Can make a good man bad
So for once in my life
Let me get what I want
Lord knows, it would be the first time
Lord knows, it would be the first time

It goes to show Romeo has no control over this team. These guys are PRACTICING this shit, planning when to do it etc. They are giving the finger to RAC and Pioli by doing this saying hey, you may suck, but 'we gets ours'~

Dont get me wrong, I dont mind it one bit.

Some part of me feels that this is the players just finally having enough. The defense played pretty outstanding last night. At some point you start to lose the locker room and this to me says the leadership on the players says lets go out there and play to our abilities and in the mean time embarrass the organization. EVERY player knows team celebrations are prohibited and subject to penalty yet they made a point to do it.
I think this is a slap in the face to management and with their play which will continue I feel is a recognition of the fans pleading for better play but not giving into the managing style.

It's a rough time to be a fan. If you're still watching and caring there's nobody who can ever question your fandom.

It's not purposely embarrassing the organization...it's just not caring at all.

I wasn't trolling. He's a bad influence and we are the youngest team in the league.

1. The guy got paid $600,000 for that game

2. He dropped an easy catch

3. He dropped another easy catch when he turned and saw Ryan Clark coming at him 100 mph.

4. Romeo told the team anyone who fumbled would be benched and then he holds the ball out taunting the Pittsburgh CB? I sooo wished that kid would have stripped it from him.

5. 90% of the time he can only get open on a come back or curl route.

I would cut him and I am dead serious. I can't stand the guy and he is an embarrassment. He is not a good player and he acts like he is the best imo.

Send a message and cut him or deactivate him. That's what i would do. When you have no player over 30 years old, you can't let that behavior go imo.

I really don't mind celebrating. Just don't get a penalty over it.

In a year where absolutely nothing has gone right, have never had a lead, and then something actually breaks your way, sure celebrate. I don't expect you to be a robot.

Like I said. Just don't get a flag.

It was said earlier. Celebrating isn't what's embarrassing. Losing is what's embarrassing. Had we won, nobody would care.
