Ever been to the Buffalo/Niagra Falls area? Help me out.

Ok...here's the deal.

Traveling to Niagara Falls, ON later this year. Tell me about the procedure crossing into Canada from Buffalo...i've always flown in and out of Canada.

So....Should i fly to Buffalo and drive 45 mins, or should i fly to Toronto and drive 1:15 mins (at least that's what mapquest said)????

I suppose; more like the opposite of driving there to look at it in a car, on a motorcycle the whole trip would be an adventure.

Yes, that does sound enjoyable. Not this time though.

Lived in Rochester and traveled to Niagara Falls a few times. Never really had a problem getting in or out. They shouldn't give you any hassle going into Canada and since you're an American citizen they'll give you next to no trouble aside from what you're bringing back over but that's just basic common sense.

The drive from TO to Niagara can be a real pain in the ass. Buffalo airport then cross at Fort Erie, then do the short drive on the Canadian side to Niagara Falls.
Need any insight on what to do, where to go once there?

Driving across the border on the American side is the most miserable experience possible. Just the traffic alone is enough to make you want to turn around and leave. It's a lot easier going back across the border from the Canadian side.

Ya, kind of figured that was the case, but was a little uncertain. Been to TO many times, but never to Niagara. Thanks to my comrades here at CP, i have a little more information than i had before.

Also....Thanks for the offer on the insight of where to go and what to do...but there won't be time for that...unfortunately, it's work.

Well, that sucks...i was optimistic....(unless of course you aren't serious).

Everything i've heard/read so far indicates otherwise.
