I keep looking at the talent right now, have been for about three months.

And I honestly think the talent is at its best at OL towards the end of the 1st round.

Andy Reid needs to replace Albert, and there's no guarantee he has faith in Fisher. And Asamoah has almost certainly left, so we'll be in the hunt for a guard as well.

This is a team looking to get away from Pioli's smaller, nimble OL, and towards Reid's larger, more powerful OL.

Maybe we bring back Schwartz at guard. Maybe not.

God. This franchise has conditioned me to prepare for the worst.

I'm not an advocate of drafting an offensive lineman in round 1. That being said, if somehow Taylor Lewan was available when the chiefs pick than I would grab him. He is really a tremendous athlete, and a mauler in the run game.

He's got great length. He thinks the game moved a little too quick for him last year." "I'm not sold ... He has to get a lot more physical and mentally he has to get stronger. He's got the athleticism. The kid has great feet. He has John Alt feet."

Should tell you something about what he thinks about Rishaw Johnson.

But the answer to the Chiefs guard questions is not in the first round of the draft, according to Grunhard.

"I think you can find somebody," Grunhard said. "I don't know the logistics of who's there. I haven't looked at the top 10 guards coming out.... There are some guys that played tackle that might move into the guard position. I think you can find a guy who played tackle in college and move him inside."

The first round of the draft should be a receiver, Grunhard said. "Chiefs are going to get a playmaker in the first round."

I don't see OL especially since Zack Martin should be gone by our pick. I also think ODB is gone too. He's gaining steam.

I would say Lee or Cooks are great bets at this point.
