This question may have already been answered, but why are the 6 players currently available in free agency available? The last schedule had FAs from Carolina, Seattle, and Kansas City in the first wave, but 5 of the first 6 players don't come from these teams and there are a lot of other players from these 3 teams still unavailable. Were these 6 just a test sample?

Not sure. Some kind of glitch that I will check out when I get time to work on Sandbox. Real life is crushing me at the moment.

The 4 guys who are currently showing up in the "eligible for bidding" list and who have a current NFL affiliation also appear in the "not yet eligible for bidding" list, fwiw.

So how exactly do injuries work out?

I have the Giants running back that broke his leg in preseason. Let's just he comes back week 8- will he be unavailable to play in the league for the first half of the Sandbox season?

Unofficial explanation (ie I think this is how it works):

Each player is available for the games he was available for in the real NFL season. So your running back will be out for the first 7 weeks of the Sandbox season, but if he comes back in week 8 in real life, he'll be available to you in week 8 of Sandbox.

If a guy is available for the start of the game in real life, I think he's available to you for the full game in Sandbox. So Eric Fisher will be available for the full 4th game in Sandbox even though he left the Giants game early with a concussion.

So, has the FA list been updated?

I'm going to assume that's a negative.

Why do you assume it's a negative?
Can you not access the page? I ask cause you're capable of finding out on your own. No, not being a Richard.

Same original guys' cd listed except there's a few (3) that have been added I think by us. I know when I dropped Evan Rodriguez he then too showed up on the top available table.

I'm shocked to have picked up James Casey. He's not playing a bunch which is odd for a guy that just got a fat check. They gotta play their 1st rounder so he's been SOL.

I'm in luck though with Sandbox as long as he's suiting up every week I'm guaranteed something from him. Right cd, right?

I'm sorry. I didn't understand the question so I was waiting for Rain Man or cdcox to explain what's going on in free agency.

Apologies. cdcox and I have both been tied up at work.

cdcox said that there are a free agents available right now due to a data glitch, and he's working to get the full system up and running. It's yet another new element, so it's taking a little while. We're almost all the way toward having the whole game system up and tested, at which point things will go more like a German train station. Thanks for your patience as we finalize our elements of new construction.

Players listed as available for bid in free agency are listed due to a bug that I am in the process of fixing. Free agency hasn't officially kicked off yet, so I need to undo all of the bids that have been made in league 2. Who was James Casey playing for last season in Sandbox?
