Black and Hispanic voters: thrash the GOP

ABC Exits:

Blacks 90-9
Hispanics 69-29

(This is the thread where CP cuckservatives explain why minorities were so angry at the GOP given peace and prosperity and their own record-low unemployment rates)

I understand that racism etc is not an accurate portrayal of the party. I also understand that many, many aren't as thoughtful as i, but much more reactionary. There is a feeling, and evidence that anti-hispanic sentiment exists with a section of Trump voters, whether you personally feel that way or not. When you look around, you see it. You'd have to be blind or willfully ignorant not to see it permeate through social media.

It angers people. People hold on to that anger. They correlate "That one thing that one guy said that one time" to the party, and for that person, it's forever associated. And every time they see something similar, it's reinforced.

TL;DR: People are assholes. People are emotional. People are also dumb. When you combine the three you get a wider divide. The solution? Less assholes and less dumb people. How do we get that? No idea.
I won't argue at all that there is a segment of Trump voters who are...well just flat ass racist. But why can't we have a media that portrays them as the obvious minority within the party that they very clearly are?

I mentioned it yesterday in one of these threads, but there are a shitload of Democrats fully vested in intersectionality that believe I should have no say in pretty much anything because I'm a straight white male. Fine...whatever - you're an idiot. But I tell you what, if you guys had policy that I thought made a damn bit of sense, I'd just ignore your vocal fringe group of idiots.

And it's also a damn lot easier for me to see those people as a vocal fringe group because every time they do something heinous I have 20 different people on my TV or various feeds telling me so. That most assuredly is not the case when some rube with an R after his name (or shit, just a MAGA hat on) in Pennsylvania says something awful. Then it suddenly becomes "The mid-terms are a referendum on racism as a policy platform..."

I want a goddamn even playing field. Then MAYBE the Republican's can drill through the emotion a bit. They can emphasize the economics of their argument or the need for basic accountability. Suddenly it will be obvious that the vast majority of them are sane, rational people and not old white dudes who just hate brown folk.

At that point, once the veil is pierced, we can talk about who's policies have most favored minorities of late. To my reckoning, it sure seems like 2 years of Trump did a lot more for minorities in this country than 8 years of Obama did. Sure do wish we'd have had a legit opportunity to show it without being drowned in bullshit "isms" during every news cycle.

And the Democrats (who get to control the narrative with a complicit media) turn it into "WHY DO YOU HATE BROWN PEOPLE?!?!?!"

I hate it, but I'm coming to PB's way of thinking on this one - there's no winning for Republicans with minority groups. There HAVEN'T been a slew of racist policies forwarded by Republicans and the policies they have put forward have been hugely beneficial for most minority groups. There HAVEN'T been heavy efforts to curb legal immigration or otherwise disenfranchise immigrants who get here through the proper channels. Yet you'd never know that by listening to the news or reading social media.

All this bullshit about evil racist Republicans is a nonsensical narrative apart from a handful of outliers. Meanwhile Democrats elected someone to the !@#$ing House who might as well have posted "Death to the Jews" on her Twitter feed. And the Republicans get called antisemitic more often than the Dems.

If I'm the GOP, I'm getting close to throwing my hands up here as well. I mean for ****'s sake, they can't win if their message won't be honestly portrayed anyway and lord knows it won't be. Instead what we'll hear is the 1 out of 20 who IS in fact a racist idiot being trotted out there by the left as clear representative of the Republican platform and that will be used to shout down the other 19 who simply want a solution to a serious economic problem.
  • Race matters
  • Ethnicity matters
  • Orientation matters
  • Morality matters
  • Sex matters
  • Location matters
  • Life experience matters

All of history proves that true. With the exception of westernized nations, pretty much all the world still retains enough functional intelligence to know that's true.

Here, in the United States, pointing most of that out as true is somehow bad, and makes you an evil person, if you are pointing it out to defend the old standards in some way. Somehow, we need to fix that. But that would require people somehow finding their spines after decades of not showing them.

They don't share any conservative values. I've read the polling data for years and years, Hispanics are liberals ideologically. On every issue. With zero exceptions. Please correct me if you dare (and nobody ever takes me up on it)

Tell Hispanics to vote GOP in 2020. Just try it - and see how white Democrats react to you. You know exactly what would happen.

Those two reasons are why I really only use Instagram. No, or very little, political content. No "shares". Only what I want to see, which is personal content created by my friends.

Facebook is for old people to share what they used to send you in email forwards.

I have a FB account that I log into once or twice a week... mainly because of the old people I need to sort-of keep up with.

PB's is all about us vs them.
Does this mean there aren't any white immigrants?

I wonder what percentage of those applying for immigration to the US are white.

Are white people generally happy with where they live and so don't wish to immigrate here?
