MO Proposition 3 Enlightenment

I have registered to vote for the first time in my life because I want to. Twice in my life I have registered and voted because somebody else wanted me to.

This is something that matters to me.

My problem is they write these things so difficult till a saintly old bossanovalist such as myself don't know what it means if I vote yes or no.

I can not believe that I am actually going to vote on a marijuana law that actually means something.

I am a political idiot moron dumbass. I study 5-note chords for sambas and bossa novas, so please be gentle.

your noob pal,
Dinny

It's not like I voted to shut it down. I just don't like the idea of looser restrictions on gambling. That's one that I wouldn't care if it passed though.

I, I, I. Dirk Digler wasn't thinking of "I" when he voted. He was thinking of me and HCF. You're no Dirk Digler.

My mom used to go play bingo nearly every night of the week when I was in high school. It's actually where she met her boyfriend of 22 years (they were both older and neither interested in the "hassle" of getting married...lol). She'd probably kill me if she knew I voted no. I don't see anything wrong with making sure a person running a game has been with the organization their raising money for for at least two years. And Bingo is popular enough with word-of-mouth, so I don't see the need for them to expand their advertising. Although, I'm sure the smoking ban must have hurt business.

Meh. If I'm wrong about him, I'm wrong about him. I know him professionally, so I guess I can't really vouch for his character. Just didn't want people assuming he was crooked simply because he's an attorney.

I left that blank. I had not heard anything about it before seeing it on the ballot. Straight no's on everything else.

However, for the first time in years, I was able to vote for a Democrat. One of the local women in the courthouse. I had no idea she was a Dem, hard to believe because she is a fine woman. Still kinda felt dirty filling in that oval though

Must be so hard being a straight ticket voter.

It was a little hard. There were several county offices that had democrats running unopposed, so I had to write a Republican in which was marginally harder than filling in an oval.

The Democrats help make it less painful

But, I'm not a straight ticket voter anymore, didn't you read my post? The scales have fallen from my eyes, I NOW SEE THE LIGHT!!

Ear regardless of how everything turns out, I feel a huge victory in living long enough to vote on a real marijuana law in Missouri. They are Shirley begging for huge puffy parkas in Hades.

I said yes to 2, no on 3 and c. Other than that, I voted some yesses, I voted some noes, voted for some Republicans, voted for some Democrats, voted for some judges.

Currently working on a chart for "The Christmas Song". Salted some gorgeous T-bones. Got the Cold Duck on ice.

Been a big day.

I'm going on break.

Good job Missourians. Figured if Claire lost that she'd go down with Amendment 2.

Human immunodeficiency virus or acquired immune deficiency syndrome.

A chronic medical condition that is normally treated with a prescription medication that could lead to physical or psychological dependence, when a physician determines that medical use of marijuana could be effective in treating that condition and would serve as a safer alternative to the prescription medication.

Any terminal illness; or
in the professional judgement of a physician, any chronic or debilitating or other medical condition, including but not limited to, hepatitis C, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, inflammatory bowel disease, Crohn's disease, Huntington's disease, autism, neuropathies, sickle cell anemia, agitation of Alzheimer's disease, cachexia, and wasting syndrome.

"Qualifying Patient" means a Missouri resident diagnosed with at least one qualifying medical condition.
