The Fast Food Burger Poll
As a spinoff from the Culver's thread, here's a poll about fast food burger joints. I'm putting up the normal poll for all you lazy asses out there, but it really makes more sense to rate them all individually rather than just picking your favorite (since favorites will largely depend on what places you've actually tried). Because of that, here's a slightly more in-depth poll that I'll report on the results of in a few days.

To me, it wasn't much different than Steak and Shake. They had the same damn skinny fries too. I really don't care for those. All-in-all it was pretty good and I would go there again, but like Culver's and Five Guys better.

I had Hardee's on Sunday (had to replace the power supply on my pc, hardee's is just a bit down metcalf from microcenter, and i have no impulse control). Burger wasn't bad. Fries were soggy though. Hate that. I'd probably put it somewhere between McDonalds and Burger Thing (low) and Wendy's (high) on the fast food list.

I had to vote for Red Robin though. My favorite of all burgers is the Royal Robin with the egg on top! I don't know why but I love an egg on my burger. |

What makes Wendy's so good is simple. They put their secret on their very own logo, in plain daylight. Wendy's is so good because quality is in their recipe. |

I've noticed that as a trend with fast food places. Most of their sauces are just an excuse to put sugar on the sandwich. |

If anyone remembers the Wylie's restaurant from the 80s and 90s, they're still being made. The owners of Wylie's own "The Pick BBQ" in Shawnee. You get the Wylie with any topping plus a side order for $7.99. Great burger!

I was in Denver yesterday (God! Will they EVER fix those crappy roads!?!?) and ate at a place called "Good Times" just because I saw it while sitting at a stop light. All in all, it wasn't terrible. The fries were pretty good, though. |
