What movie made you walk out of a theater!

I might get some flack for this, but oh well. I have only walked out of one movie and that movie was The Illustionist. I gave it about 30-40 minutes and I was done with it

I've never walked out of a theater.....but the only movie i can recall people walking out on was Irreversible. People walked out in droves on that one, i imagine due to its intense, graphic nature.

I cannot blame them. That rape scene was awful... then the fire extinguisher... ugh

Not sure if you meant that chronologically, but in the movie the fire extinguisher came first.

But yeah, I'd put either scene on par with the footage of the Afghani pre-teen beheading a captive with a dull knife, or those Russian psychopath teens mutilating bums and filming it with their camera phone from a couple years back.

I remember the story from my God fearing, lifelong country farm wife Grandma... she got extra bored one day and decided she'd just go uptown without saying anything about it to her husband.

So she got all dressed up and went uptown to see a show, chosen basically at random, and what did she choose?... "Little Nicky" ... not only Sandlers worst movie ever, but she wouldnt have been even mildly amused by his BEST movie ever

"well I just got up and walked right out of that awful thing!"

Just imagine your own Grandma going to that disgrace, and she never went uptown for a movie again.

I didn't like it either and I usually like all Wes Anderson films. I remember being very disappointed after watching it.

Holy shit that reminds me of the time that happened to my great aunt. She's the sweetest lady and basically a saint. I guess she went to the theater with her friend and saw There's something about Mary? They only made it 20 minutes(Have no clue how they made it through 10 minutes). I frickin died laughing when my Mom told me. Now even though that was a great movie she couldn't possibly go see that. lol

The wife and I walked out of Birdman. It was highly touted and highly disappointing.

Wow. Best movie of the year imo. That's surprising to me. Still, I had the urge to walk out on Boyhood and people can't stop blowing that one.

Long time ago I walked out on "Annie." I guess I shouldn't have done mushrooms first... Here recently, I rented "The Neighbors" and could only watch about 20 minutes before I had to just turn it off. Not funny, just stupid.
