Here's the link: http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-top100-2015

Watching the highlights gets me excited for the season all over again.

How many Chiefs are we thinking make the top 100 this year? Last year we had five in Charles (8), Hali (37), Berry (50), Houston (57), and DJ (64).

Charles and Houston are locks. Both could justifiably be named in the top 10 but I'm guessing they'll both be snubbed by more marketable names like Watt and Bell/Lynch. I'm still thinking top 20 for JC and Houston, though.

Hali won't make it along with DJ and Berry for obvious reasons.

I think this will be the year Poe finally cracks the lineup. Maybe somewhere in the 80s.

Hudson might be deserving but **** that guy.

Maclin will likely be named somewhere in the 60s, I'd guess..?

Sean Smith could squeak on if they put a scrub like Julian Edelman on there but I highly doubt it. He'd need another season like he had last year to hope for that kind of recognition.

Anyway, thoughts?

Obviously there are a few not coming to mind for me at the moment..

I'm both embarrassed and proud to say that I'm losing touch with the NFL these days. Other than Watt, who's the consensus second-best d-lineman? And who are the consensus best o-lineman? I'm drawing a blank.

Consensus best offensive lineman would have to be Joe Thomas, I'd think. Tyron Smith, Travis Frederick, Trent Williams, Marshal Yanda are other big names but they've all already been mentioned.

Second best defensive lineman really depends on system and your opinion. Robert Quinn, Terrell Suggs, and Ndamukong Suh are probably the biggest names after Watt.

So there may not be a lineman other than Joe Thomas in this last 20? Or maybe Suggs, though I think of him more as an LB.

It's very confusing. I don't understand why his video is not like all the others'. It's almost like they went to a commercial break when he was announced.

I don't know. But Joe Thomas getting ranked above Houston shows what a ****ing gimmick this thing is. I can't stand to think of who else is in that top 20. If Houston was in Dallas, he'd be ranked in the top 10.

Jordy Nelson, Le'veon Bell, and two more I can't think of.

Heres the list of backs who've managed 5 yards per carry for five consecutive years... Barry Sanders, Jim Brown.

Thats IT.

Peterson, McCoy and whoever else all of these tards have put forth these last 3-4 years?... they PALE in comparison, its not even CLOSE.

Jamaal is the best running back in the National Football League, period.

McCoy will NEVER be able to gain yards after contact like JC, Peterson will NEVER outrun someone with the angle like JC consistently does.

And the best part is that our team has him for atleast his next two prime years... all of you **g "writers" out there better get it right this year.

Kansas City.

Jamaal Charles.

Scariest back in the league.
I was bored and finally clicked on this thread.
I don't pay any attention to players' thoughts on players, and this list illustrates perfectly the reason I don't.

However, I found this post very interesting, and I did some research and found that this list that you've provided of RBs that have averaged 5.0 ypc for 5 consecutive seasons, or more is wrong.

Neither Brown nor Sanders averaged 5.0 ypc for more than 3 consecutive seasons.

Brown did it for 3 consecutive seasons '63 to '65, his final 3 seasons, and averaged more than 5.0 ypc only twice in his previous 6 years.

Barry Sanders only had 2 consecutive years, '96 and '97.
He only had 3 other seasons in which he managed that average.

The only other RB that had 5 consecutive seasons of 5.0 ypc or more is Marion Motley, and he never had more than 157 carries in that stretch.

Surprisingly, Mercury Morris is next on the list, with 4 consecutive seasons,
but he only had fewer than 100 carries in 3 of those seasons.

Adrian Petterson, for reference has never put together any consecutive 5.0 or more ypc seasons, and in fact has had only 2 seasons in which he has achieved that mark.

LeSean McCoy also hasn't had consecutive seasons, and also has only 2 seasons that he has achieved that number.

Jamaal Charles has yet to have a season in which he has dipped below 5.0 ypc.

Its been too long to remember where I read the Brown/Sanders stat, but rest assured I wasn't just pulling stats out of my ass, it had to have come from some major site... where did you find that neither ever had 5 years at 5.0?

Anyway, I'd kinda forgot about that rant... thanks for dragging it up, kinda proud of that one.
