Not just done with KC,done with the NFL

Yet another thread and I even went as far tonight that I gave away a very nice Chiefs coat and chiefs stocking cap at the party I was at.Also quit my fantasy football league and am renouncing the NFL as a whole.

Pro football is nothing more than pro wrestling only the stage is 50,000 times larger and the NFL just might get their Luck/Manning rematch and maybe even their Manning/Brady rematch.I ****ing hate to think this shit is rigged but at 51 I've seen much to much over the years and am done being made a fool of.

Oh and lastly this years pro bowl will be a fantasy draft, really, wake the **** up people we're watching another form of Hollywood where some of the actors are paid millions and some are just bit players.

****!

I just woke and my first thought is that didn't really happen did it?

Even though we have come so far it's hard for me to look forward to next season because it seems like an absolute curse.

It seems like leads mean nothing anymore. I think back to the Minnesota/Baltimore game this year that had like 5 lead changes in the last 2 minutes. I know there was the Houston Buffalo game in the 90s, but crazy shit didn't happen with this kind of regularity.

It's an offensive league. You better have a great offense, or you have no chance.

**** this one hurts so bad. I keep telling myself it's just a game. No one died. It still ****ing sucks.

Ugh!

I think the problem is lack of sleep. I know I haven't had a game effect me to the point of not sleeping in a really long time like that one did. I can usually shrug them off now that I am older but holy shit that was brutal.

I have never spent less money on the overall NFL experience than i did this year. I bought no merch and only went to one game. A couple of weekends, I only watched Chiefs.

I used to live life for Sundays in October. I used to be glued to the TV every Sat and Sun from Sept-Jan. I would neglect life for footballs.

Do conspiritards realise that the "NFL" is actually the 32 teams that comprise it? And not a secret cadre of man in dark glasses nursing evil looking cats?

So I may learn something, at what level is it thought that these plans are hatched? Is it Goodell and the owners of the teams that benefit? All the owners? Is there a committee? Do they consult the broadcasters? If the chiefs are lined up to take a beating, is Clark Hunt in on it because it earns the league (and consequently, him) more money when they rig the outcomes? Or are the owners of the teams that don't benefit in the dark about it? Why can't Jerry Jones get a friggen break from the rigging committee?

They hate Jerry Jones, he's the new Al davis, and the Cowboys won't won another Super Bowl as ling as he owns them.

'The NFL' may be comprised of the 32 teams...

but if that's so true, then how come 'NFL, INC' makes $9B per year AND doesn't pay taxes as it claims to be a 'not-for-profit' enterprise??

Ya you would think the Cowboys would be high in the pecking order for some rigging been thrown there way if the conspiracy was true.

I do blame all these new rules that favor offense though. The NFL has made a shit watered down product.

Jerry Jones is paying for those licensing deals in the 90's. And for circumventing the cap. And a bunch of other shit, probably - NFL isn't a fan of mavericks. (As Chris Kluwe found out).

And absolutely, this is a shit watered-down product.

I remember that football was better when players practiced.

You are bitching and whining because the chiefs lost. You just can't fathom the thought of the chiefs being apart of one of the biggest choke jobs in nfl history. So what do you do? Create an escape goat. Blame the refs for the chiefs blowing a 4 TD lead. Its very very typical. I see this type of behavior from other fanbases as well after a heartbreaking loss. Oh, and you're stating no "facts", just a bunch of nonsense to make you feel better about yourself.

it's called a 'scapegoat' you moron.

again, NO ONE chokes that hard, for that long.

yes, the secondary is bullshit, and Kendick Lewis is terrible. No, we were never going to beat Denver or Cincy.

But if you don't understand how the officials totally got Indy back into this game and held their hands and sucked them off through it, that's okay.

you think I'm using the conspiracy as an 'escape goat', so either you're making a very unfunny phonetic play on words (highly unlikely) or you're an idiot who likes to pretend that they know what they're talking about (seemingly most probable)

This is embarrassing. The best anyone here can do when it comes to a possibly blown call is is the fumble recovery, which many of us think was the right call by the replay assistant, at least given the footage shown on NBC.

You're upset, many are, but blaming the officials and the NFL rigging committee just makes you look a sore loser.

If that game was rigged the KC defense was in on it.
