Report: Jeff Sessions to Announce 2020 U.S. Senate Run

I think he's be a fine senator compared to that piece of Demonrat trash that took his place. I just don't think he was a good AG.

I don't like this though:
According to multiple reports, despite serving as U.S. Attorney General for the Trump administration, Sessions is expected to be opposed by President Donald Trump.

https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2...-s-senate-run/
I mean wtf? No need for grudges. Sessions is pro-border security. Let it go Don. Jeff didn't resign to spite you, he was just not strong enough as AG and wanted to avoid any semblance of conflict of interest. Just agree to disagree.

I don't think so. He supported those things before Trump and was one of the first to endorse him.

It was Trump's campaign that was accused of colluding with Russia. Sessions worked on and was part of the Trump campaign. That's why.

Did you see the ad by Sessions. You should. It's pretty good. Did he go out and write a Tell All book after he resigned? No.
Did he go on CNN or other media, after he resigned and attack Trump? No.

That says a lot. Besides, he is an illegal immigration hawk. Trump needs that in the Senate. And he needs more than Sessions who think the same too.

What happened was Sessions got baited in questioning by Al Franken of all people in which he questions sessions for communicating with any Russians. Some desk jockey then tells Sessions to recuse himself and like a good outstanding citizen, thatís exactly what he did. Easily the dumbest move an Attorney General has ever made.

Compelling ad but gonna be a hard sell when your actions kicked off a 2 year investigation into the WH. Trump mentioned Tommy Tuberville today and didnít really discuss Sessions only saying heíll have a tough campaign.

If you think the Democrats wouldn't have still found a way to remove Trump, like they're doing now, then I have a bridge to sell ya'. They would have rode Sessions out until he resigned. Apparently, it's in the DOJ rules per Sessions. I don't know if it's true or not but there is some logic to his thinking. And the Democrats are still squawking RussiaV2 because they thought Trump held up military aid to fight Russians.

He didnít need to recuse himself. He was just a weak AG that didnít hold up well under any scrutiny.

The democrats had no power to remove Sessions. Let them squeal and squak.
