Seriously, he just might because the Rockets have nobody to match up with him now that Beverly is out. It's going to be a problem for them in the later rounds as well. Beverly wasn't all that, but he was the "best" the Rockets had defensively at the Point and what he brought usually worked on defense. His offense would frustrate you when he bricked 3's BUT the Rockets could compensate for that. They can't as much on defense. When the Rockets Bigs get in foul trouble, as they did tonight, the problem becomes even more glaring. That's the only reason the Mav's were able to keep within striking distance.

You're right - it was a good win and others did step up. Harden was "Playoff James", and Crawford sat Dwight down so others needed to step up, and they DID!

They played well obviously, but LMA and Lillard aren't going to be this bad most of the time. That said, Grizz D was really, really good against those guys tonight. If everybody is playing, Memphis is a handful. Just need Conley and Allen to stay reasonably healthy.

Portland on the other hand clearly behind the 8 ball without Matthews. His ability to play D and stretch the floor on offense completes that team.

I'm happy about the Grizz performance, but long series. Grizz need to win Game 2 to feel good about things. Winning in the Rose Garden is really tough to do.

Kind of lukewarm about that Cavs win today. Man, Brad Stevens can coach and I HATE that he's in Boston. The score tells a different story. Cleveland made a second half run but it felt more like Boston stumbling.
